Welcome to our 20-acre working farm between Ulladulla & Nowra, NSW South Coast—under 3 hrs from Sydney/Canberra. Authentic bush vibes: open paddocks or shady trees; a short walk to a quiet creek. Spot kookaburras, wallabies, wombats, plus our farm mates: cows, chickens, & Elmo the horse! 🐄🐔🐴 An Ideal weekend getaway or Jervis Bay stopover. We keep it peaceful, family-friendly & private—space for everyone, minimal neighbour impact. Self-sufficient: pack out all rubbish & follow Leave No Trace to protect wildlife & our land. 🌍 Booking & Site Rules 🚐 • Noisy, disruptive, drunken or antisocial behaviour? Will be asked to leave immediately—no refund. 🚫 • No group bookings—keep it mellow! 😌 • One family/primary vehicle setup per site only. • Permitted: 1 vehicle + 1 caravan/camper trailer/motorhome, OR solo motorhome/campervan. • 1 extra vehicle (car/small 4WD) OK at added cost—tell us when booking. • No extra caravans/trailers/motorhomes—book a separate site after checking with Christine. • Respect wildlife/neighbours/animals 🦉: Quiet hours 9 pm–7 am (crickets & kookaburras rule! 🌙), secure food/rubbish, no feeding/approaching wildlife. Low lights, stay on your own site. • Pets are welcome but supervised around farm animals & wildlife. 🐕 • Fires allowed in provided firepits (check danger ratings)—gather fallen wood or buy at gate $20! 🔥🪵 • Fresh free-range eggs $7/dozen—text for drop-off! 🥚🚗 We enjoy limited phone reception; 2WD is usually fine, but 4WD may be needed in wet weather. Mind wombat holes, stumps & snakes when exploring. Come for the quiet retreat or quick bush escape—we look forward to hosting you! ✨

We were in ‘The Cackle’ which was at the far end of the dampers. It was the most private and spacious of the sites. We faced beautiful bush vegetation. It was lovely to see cows, horses and to listen to the kookaburras and melodious Currawongs

Beautiful spot beside the creek, really well maintained and easy to find (even in the dark) We have our two kids (aged 5 & 7) with us and they loved the animals especially the very friendly horse, Elmo ❤️ We were allowed come up and feed the animals and took home some very fresh eggs! Can't recommend enough!

Christine's property was a lovely rural destination, with generously designated campsite for each group, pretty country vistas, looking out at many kangaroos and cows grazing in the sunset, and well-set-up campfire stones. Quite a magical spot, would definitely go back. The only negative thing was the pit toilet, but that's a personal dislike. A composting toilet would be preferable.

Such a peaceful spot to camp for the weekend, so many kookaburras to watch and listen too, was a spacious site with a fire pit to use. Our kids loved the roaming farm animals and the morning sun was beautiful. Thanks!

It was so lovely to be able to set up our caravan on this beautiful site. We had cows, a friendly horse, loads of birds and kangaroos visit us. It was peaceful and we're relaxed totally. The creek was really pretty. Our dog Sadie had a terrific time too.

A really really beautiful and peaceful bushland spot. I loved my stay here and I’d definitely return! There really are kookaburras everywhere and they were so beautiful! Wonderful camping spot!!

We loved our stay at this farm camp. There were lots of wildlife (saw a bandicoot, he came right up to our caravan, and there were kangaroos in the paddocks) and it was a peaceful spot to stay. Easy to get a car + caravan in and out (our caravan 22ft), level sites definitely recommend. Close enough for a day trip to booderee national park to check out those beautiful beaches (approx 25-30min drive).

Great Hip Camp! Good directions from the host, well maintained camping area, very spacious flat sites, a clean pit toilet and lovely country views. There is a beautiful creek a short walk from the campground, but the access is steep and slippery, making it difficult to get to. Lovely friendly cows and horses meander around, there are kangaroos and wombats and of course, the Kookaburras! Fresh farm eggs are available to buy from the owners, as well as firewood. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend!

“Good Luck”
We had a very relaxing weekend at Kookaburra. Very appropriately named, the Kookaburras were laughing at us when we were pulling up to our site. The sites were very neatly maintained and our site, Good Luck was very level. It was relaxing just sitting and listening to the different birds. We went for a walk a saw a lot of wombat holes and had a wade in the creek. Oh, and we had a visit from the horse 😊

Very nice spot. Great site the grassy and partly shaded was very pleasant Great and friendly host. Very good price rate. Friendly animals, we all fell in love with the horse. Very clean and tidy toilet. And the eggs are great We’ll be back.

Beautiful property, peaceful and private camp sites. The creek on the property offers great escape from the heat. Very close to Jervis Bay for day trips to the beach. The site is very easy to access with easy to follow signage.

Kookaburra campsite is amazing and we can't wait to return! Its really well signposted so was easy to find our spot after arriving late after work on Friday evening. We were in the RIOT site and there was a very good distance to the other campers so it felt private. The site is really flat and lush with lots of lovely cows, a horse and kangroos. Its well positioned to visit the beach too - about 20 mins drive.

We had such a lovely stay at Kookaburra: Riot site. The location was easy to find & very well signposted. The Riot site was easily accessible by 2WD vehicle in dry and light rain. It’s’ beautiful country with the swimming creek so very close by! We loved having the cows and horse nearby also, as well as actual kookaburras. The camp site was clean with lots of flat space to pitch our tent. The pit toilet was very well kept, (particularly given it was Summer). Christine was very accomodating of a late check out on Sunday afternoon, which we greatly appreciated.

We loved our 3 days at Kookaburra! Peaceful spot with a creek to cool off. So many places to explore close by. We chose Bushman’s Clock and saw so many birds and the friendly cows and horse that roam the property.

The land is beautiful & peaceful. The variety of animals on the land was awesome. The property is green & lush. Communication with Christine was also excellent. We will be back & highly recommend anyone that's after a peaceful & quiet stay to check this place out.
