Mystery Bay Campground is a beautiful, primitive coastal campground surrounded by bushland and dramatic coastline on the NSW South Coast. Set among shady trees just moments from the beach, this is a back-to-basics camping experience for those who love being close to nature. Spend your days swimming, exploring the shoreline, wandering along the beach or simply relaxing at camp and enjoying the peaceful coastal surroundings. The campground sits near rugged coastal cliffs and rocky shoreline, which are part of what makes Mystery Bay so spectacular. Please take care when exploring, particularly around cliff edges, rocky areas and with children, and always keep a safe distance from exposed edges. Facilities here are primitive, so come prepared for a simple, low-key camping experience rather than the amenities of a holiday park. In return, you’ll be staying in a wonderfully natural setting with beaches, clear water and beautiful coastal scenery right on your doorstep. Mystery Bay is also a great base for exploring the wider Eurobodalla region, including nearby Narooma and Tilba. Whether you’re stopping in on a South Coast road trip or settling in for a few quiet days by the sea, it’s a special place to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy this wild stretch of coastline.
