376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). If you have queries regarding access check photos in gallery or please ask me. Flushing toilet on site. Dogs permitted. Good telephone and internet reception. Ideal for flying your new drone.

Space, privacy, wilderness, quiet. Stunning views across the Bega Valley, looking over the culturally significant sites of Biamanga and Guluga. A beef farm, with significant ecological diversity. You will be surrounded by wildlife - wallabies, wombats, and echidnas, with a vast array of bird life. Our cows are raised to be super friendly, perfect for children to pat and hand feed. We also have horses that will wander by hoping for an apple or carrot. Walk through native woodland forests, enjoy the views, and if you have a four wheel drive explore down to our fresh water creek deep in the valley. The most accessible camping locations are along the private bitumen road that winds across the hilltops, providing easy access. Other locations can be chosen, that are tucked away in the wilderness. The beach is half an hour away, and you can catch glimpses of the ocean (just) from various places on the farm. The night sky is breathtaking, with no light pollution, and the quiet (other than the wildlife) is serene. We love guests and look forward to hosting you and your family.

Kangarutha Farm is a nature-based destination set on a stunning coastal estate, minutes from Tathra. Bordering Bournda National Park, the property features expansive tracts of pristine native forest, wide-open paddocks, and scenic dams. The farm offers a small number of secluded, tranquil campsites scattered across the property. Perfect for those seeking peace and privacy, the sites provide space to relax around a campfire and immerse yourself in the natural bush and paddock surrounds. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. May common sense prevail. Thank you for visiting the farm.
