The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. You can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky. Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed. Please take all rubbish with you. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites). Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

This 1/2 acre site is suitable for small camping stays and campervans. It's dog friendly and has great mobile and 3/4G reception especially for Optus and Telstra. Two wheel drive vehicles can park on the pad just past the entry which is perfectly level or the gravel landing just before the entry which is almost level. The site is in a great location on the last residential block of historic picturesque Rockley in the Central Tablelands (Wiradjuri Country) NSW. Surrounded by nice paddocks remnant bushland screens the site from the no through road (about 5 cars a day) provides shade and brings in birdlife and other animals. You might even see an echidna or koala! On the main street about 10mins walk from Bindari is the Rockley Pub by Matt Moran plus a few other trinket shops. The pub is open Thursday-Sunday and has great pub meals and a good vibe. You can leave your vehicle parked at Bindari and take the short walk through the very pleasant historic village. Different routes there and back make for a nice round trip to explore the scenery of the old gold rush village on foot. The easiest way to get to Bindari at Rockley from Sydney is by taking the Rockley road from Bathurst. From Sydney take the Great Western Highway (A32) up and through the Blue Mountains, a stop in Blackheath works well as it’s about ½ way. Then down the steep Victoria Pass into the Central Tablelands and straight through mostly dual carriageways turning left just before Bathurst onto Rockley Road. The scenic route is lovely and actually shorter but very tricky to navigate with phone reception dropping out and maps behaving strange as you are not taking the ‘main’ road. Add in a few potholes, unmarked road features, wildlife and country drivers coming at you in the opposite direction and there are as many surprises as there are wonders. But if you are a confident driver ready to take it slow when needed you are in for an enjoyable journey. At South Bowenfels, before Lithgow, take the off road at the service station (a good place to do a last check of fuel, tyres etc) and head towards Tarana, a lovely country pub. Next landmark is the O'Connell Hotel then put Rockley into the maps. This should bring you across the country through some amazing views but very tricky driving the first time you do it. So stay sharp (especially at night with wombats, rabbits and roos on the road) and only drive to the road conditions and your experience level.

Two wheel drive vehicles can park on the pad just past the entry which is perfectly level or the gravel landing just before the entry which is almost level. The site is in a great location on the last residential block of historic picturesque Rockley in the Central Tablelands (Wiradjuri Country) NSW. Surrounded by nice paddocks remnant bushland screens the site from the no through road (about 5 cars a day) provides shade and brings in birdlife and other animals. You might even see an echidna or koala! On the main street about 10mins walk from Bindari is the Rockley Pub by Matt Moran plus a few other trinket shops. The pub is open Thursday-Sunday and has great pub meals and a good vibe. You can leave your vehicle parked at Bindari and take the short walk through the very pleasant historic village. Different routes there and back make for a nice round trip to explore the scenery of the old gold rush village on foot. The easiest way to get to Bindari at Rockley from Sydney is by taking the Rockley road from Bathurst. From Sydney take the Great Western Highway (A32) up and through the Blue Mountains, a stop in Blackheath works well as it’s about ½ way. Then down the steep Victoria Pass into the Central Tablelands and straight through mostly dual carriageways turning left just before Bathurst onto Rockley Road. The scenic route is lovely and actually shorter but very tricky to navigate with phone reception dropping out and maps behaving strange as you are not taking the ‘main’ road. Add in a few potholes, unmarked road features, wildlife and country drivers coming at you in the opposite direction and there are as many surprises as there are wonders. But if you are a confident driver ready to take it slow when needed you are in for an enjoyable journey. At South Bowenfels, before Lithgow, take the off road at the service station (a good place to do a last check of fuel, tyres etc) and head towards Tarana, a lovely country pub. Next landmark is the O'Connell Hotel then put Rockley into the maps. This should bring you across the country through some amazing views but very tricky driving the first time you do it. So stay sharp (especially at night with wombats, rabbits and roos on the road) and only drive to the road conditions and your experience level.

220 acres of Australian bush land and old farming land being regenerated. Lots of hiking available with grand views from the top of the mountain of Wyangala dam. There is no mobile phone reception so you can be completely off grid and just enjoy the bird filled valley. Other properties still have farm activities in the valley so friendly neighbours happy to help. Balga Rise is being regenerated for eco tourism down the track. The magic is over the back. You can access Wyangala Dam on foot - but not for launching fishing boats as the crown land is leased and the gate locked to prevent unauthorised camping.

We had a very lovely stay at Turon Gates. The place was very clean and well taken cared off. The toilets and showers are very convenient and clean. There’s a couple of sink that can be used to clean utensils with potable water. Wildlife’s great! The horses came around to greet everyone. We spotted kangaroos, sheep, kookaburras and goats. The river’s clean and a great place to have a swim. We surely will be back

Really beautiful property with both wildlife and farm animals. The caretakers were lovely and very helpful and lots of options for activities. We did the canoeing which was on a small but very beautiful area of the river. The camping area is neat but not super private. Would be great for big groups of families as the sites are unmarked. Facilities were also really clean and well maintained.

The kids loved the roaming horses that would stroll by in the morning and arvo, and the river is nice and shallow so they could play in it all day long. What stood out was location, in amongst orchards and vines, vineyards next door to enjoy, and campsite set up in a wonderful green surrounded by lovely shady trees. Great having power and water available with amenities a short walk from sites. However, the amenities could be cleaner and were in need of attention. Easy drive to all the sites to see and enjoy around and in Orange.
