This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. The owners are delightful and welcoming. They are opened most weekends. The winery has many events occurring through the month and if it coincides with your trip, we will be more than happen to share the event with you and if you wish we can organise the wine tasting booking for you as well. We had a lovely weekend woth our toddler and dog. A small campsite with beautifully styled amenities. The host was very responsive and the location is just far enough out of town to feel relaxing but close enough to get a meal/coffee etc.

Really beautiful property with both wildlife and farm animals. The caretakers were lovely and very helpful and lots of options for activities. We did the canoeing which was on a small but very beautiful area of the river. The camping area is neat but not super private. Would be great for big groups of families as the sites are unmarked. Facilities were also really clean and well maintained.

Awesome spot to camp!! Beautiful ground, toilet and shower facilities were wonderful. The kids loved the roaming horses that would stroll by in the morning and arvo, and the river is nice and shallow so they could play in it all day long. Was a perfect stay for myself and two kids under 5. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful location, peaceful during the week, very good facilities, and a very friendly owner; we would recommend it. Keep in mind that a lot of the river walks require crossing the river many times over slippery rocks. We set up a bit too far from the toilets but we didn’t want to get too close to the geese, I would recommend setting up closer if you can. Everything you need to know is communicated very well before arrival. The drive in is definitely doable in my all wheel drive but be prepared for lots of steep crests and blind corners. Would recommend and would come here again, preferably when it’s warmer.

Just got back from an awesome family camping trip at Turon Gates. The location is absolutely stunning – right on the creek, with so much space for the kids to explore and play. It’s incredibly family-friendly and had such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The amenities were excellent too – clean, well-maintained and made camping so much easier and more comfortable. Between the beautiful scenery and the great facilities, it was the perfect mix of adventure and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with the family!

Great patch of land, beautiful to drive through the bush to get there. Camping by the river is awesome. We went during school holidays and it didn't feel crowded, we were able to camp up in our own little private spot. Great for dogs, ours loved playing with the kids. Would come back!

This campsite in the orchards was such a lovely surprise. It’s right off the roadside but has a feel of calm about it. We had it all to ourselves and it was lovely to watch the sunset over the dam. Facilities were totally adequate and cosy.
