Beautiful camping spot on the gorgeous Fish river. There is plenty of room to camp on a flat level grassed area. The hosts were very kind and generous. We will definitely be back for a third time.

Ange and Tony were the perfect hosts, a clever mix of helping with where to find the right parking spot, advice on the local wildlife ( with two dogs) and keeping a low profile so we could have total privacy. Listening to and watching birds by the river, frog sounds at night, wallabies at dusk, the stars at night were all fabulous. The added bonus was a pizza delivered to my van. It was honestly the best pizza I have ever eaten, with locally sourced produce. I also enjoyed limited internet and phone coverage( if needed I could have walked up the hill). Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the property is simply stunning. Itās perfectly secluded, right on the stream, and surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes you instantly relax.
We dealt with Tony during our stay, and he was an absolute legend, really accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, even checking in when the rain came through. And also giving some solid fishing advice
Weāll definitely be booking again, our only worry now is that itās going to be booked out all the time!

We loved camping at Windy Oaks Farm! Beautiful, freshly mowed spot to camp by the river. Awesome hosts, mouth-watering gourmet pizzas and amazing charcuterie board!

We loved camping at Windy Oaks and will definitely be back! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!
We stayed at the River campsite. The site was easy to access, slashed, large and level. The river was easy to reach too.
We ordered pizzas and a charcuterie board for the first night! These were all absolutely amazing and highly recommended! We also tried the breakfast hamper which didn't disappoint with homemade fresh bread and baked beans.

River Campsite
Camping by the river was fantastic. It was our group's only use. The quiet sound of the river was a soothing white noise that helped us fall asleep. The most impressive and enjoyable part was the breakfast box: a freshly baked loaf of bread and homemade jam. The butter was so soft, the eggs were fresh, the sausages bacon were simply indescribably delicious. Would we visit again? Absolutely. It will be our family's favorite camping spot. We're also incredibly grateful to Tony and Angela for their kindness.

From the time we arrived to the time we left we were treated to such amazing hospitality! Tony and Ange our hosts for the weekend are so very friendly, accommodating and tentative to each of their guests needs. Upon our arrival we were shown to our campsite that was situated right on the gorgeous river which was exclusive so we had the whole campsite and river access to ourselves. The campsite is large and relatively flat with grass, perfect for a camper or those wanting to pitch tents. Tony and Ange have really thought of everything and have much on offer ranging from a generously sized big breakfast for two, mouthwatering pizzas (we ordered both) or for those who donāt have a tent and want to experience it all without the fuss, they can hitch up a tent for you with the addition of camp toilet/shower to name a few of the other things they offer, so do be sure to check out their extras when booking! Tony was also kind enough to offer fishing rods if we wanted to have a go at trout fishing, or if you are a keen fisherman, do bring your own! We were spoiled during our stay and treated to a number or freshly made products, made lovingly off their farm and Tony was kind enough to hitch us a ride so we didnāt have to pack up camp and give us a tour of the local Tarana market which just so happened to be on the weekend we were there. With such generosity and lovely hospitality and such an amazing campsite not to be missed, we highly recommend Windy oaks for your next camp trip!

Absolutely stunning spot on the river. Wonderful welcoming hosts Angela and Tony.
Do yourself a favour and take the night off cooking and order the pizzas! Absolutely mouthwatering! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

What a perfect site, easily accessed with our 20ft caravan. Grassy level area when you get to the bottom of the hill, right next to the Fish river. Tony and Angela were absolutely fabulous hosts who made you feel so welcome to share their slice of paradise. Close to Bathurst if you need anything, we can't wait to return and stay again.

Fantastic spot with excellent hosts, extremely windy weekend in the area and the spot was mostly protected. Nice and private with plenty of space as well. We will be back.

Lovely flat spot right on the flowing river. This spot was the perfect end to our 10 night outback trip. We were made to feel very welcome. I can not wait to come back in trout season. The hand made pizzas with home grown ingredients delivered to site are the best I have ever had, so fresh. The fresh eggs are next level. I normally wouldn't stop for a night so close to home but I am glad I did. Will be back

Our stay was wonderful from start to the end. The host Tony and Angela are very welcoming, we opted for the pizzas and charcuterie board and my gosh they were all delicious. Truly stunning location. Outstanding country side with crystal clear river. One of the best we have been too. The hosts gave us a dozen fresh eggs, some tomato relish and a sample of their saffron.

Lovely peaceful safe private hipcamp by a pretty riverā¦. Grass is kept short and nice riverbank walkā¦ you have it all to yourself after meeting extremely nice and welcoming host Angela. We didnāt need to hire the pop up camp but had a peek at the pop up shower and bathroom - all very clean and cute and good quality. Highly recommend this hipcamp.

Beautiful location next to the river, very accessible, only a short distance off the road. Awesome to be able to have a campfire at night and look at millions of stars. Angela and Tony were both lovely, they gave us eggs from their chickens, homemade tomato sauce made from veges from their own garden, and saffron grown by them too! Would definitely recommend!

Have and will recommend to anyone after a great camping adventure! Exactly what we were hoping for our first hipcamp experience. Couldn't have asked for a better camping spot and hosts, with complimentary farm fresh eggs and homemade chutney.
Will definitely be back and looking forward to trying pizzas next stay, thanks Angela and Tony!

The camping area at windy oaks is situated beside the riverfront at the bottom edge of the property and is very private. We had a peaceful 5 days relaxing, walking in the river and sitting beside a beautiful fire at night. Angela and Tony are great hosts and are very friendly. Angelaās pizzas were very delicious and authentic home made. I highly recommend the pizza and camping at Windy Oaks.

Beautiful peaceful river. We stayed for three nights and it was just perfect. The hosts Tony and Ange were so lovely and generous with their home made chutney and eggs. It was a beautiful flat sunny site with plenty of firewood. We would highly recommend.

Cannot speak highly enough about Angela, Tony and the Windy Oaks property! Not only were they incredibly welcoming and two of the kindest people Iāve had the pleasure of meeting, they went above and beyond to accomodate us. The passion and creativity they both shared with us was one of a kind! We spent a much needed night of stargazing, animal spotting by the fire. Angela and Tony were generous enough to share some farm-made chutney and it was delicious! We will be highly recommending their property and canāt wait to be back! Absolutely loved our stay at Windy Oaks. Angela and Tony are such welcoming hosts. We enjoyed our farm cooked pizzas which were absolutely scrumptious. Fresh air and good old fashioned country hospitality are exactly what we needed to enjoy our escape from the city. If you love the peace of nature mixed with the gentle sound of the river washing over the rocks and a beautiful clear, starry night sky sitting by the camp fire then Windy Oaks is an absolute MUST! Privacy and space galore with views that are absolutely stunning. We took up the opportunity to use their "pop up" camp which meant we only packed our clothes and some food so having the smaller car didn't stop us from having a full and fabulous camping experience. Thank you so much Angela and Tony for taking the fuss out of having to set up and pack up a camp, it was such an awesome experience for all of us. We will be back again.
