The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

The Timbarra or Rocky River is an area of great beauty southeast of Tenterfield with soaring mountains cradling the river flats and undulating hills below and is a renowned cattle breeding region. The Petrie family have been in Tenterfield since 1860 and have owned properties in the valley for over 100 years. Tim’s great-grandfather was known as Rocky Jack because of his extensive holdings. Cattle are still walked up to the Timbarra Plateau property from the river properties ‘Man From Snowy River’ style. The Plateau can be seen rising above the valley to the north from the confluence of Demon Creek and the Timbarra/Rocky River. These flow along the Demon Fault which is clearly visible on a satellite map. The 3 valley properties ‘Corner Camp’, ‘Boundary’ and ‘’Pavels’ combined with ‘Timbarra Plateau’ total over 25000 acres. The whole valley was part of 2 earlier large selections averaging 100000 acres which gradually became broken up in the late 1800s/early 1990s. There is a proud timber history in the valley and the surrounding forested mountains with large sections of State Forest now transferred to Washpool National Park which abuts both the eastern and western boundaries of ‘Boundary’ (which takes its name from Boundary Creek). The eastern section of Washpool stretches across to the Clarence River, the largest eastern river in NSW. Washpool is where the Cedar King went missing and was never located. The Timbarra/Rocky River flows into the Clarence at Tabulam and then on to Grafton and out to sea at Yamba. The headwaters of the Rocky are all the way south to the Glen Innes Grafton road so the river can rise quickly if there is a downpour upstream. Interestingly when the Chinese gold miners left the Timbarra Plateau they came down with rickshaws into the Timbarra Valley then scaled the mountains to the west, near Boundary Creek, looking for their next gold diggings towards Glen Innes. The Boundary campsites at Boundary Riverside, The Cockatoo, The China Wall, and the Caves are all suitable for caravans, RVs, Camping trailers, tents and swags as is Timbarra Plateau. Corner Camp and Pavels are suitable for camping trailers, tents and swags. Boundary campsites access are all unaffected if the river rises however we will not take bookings at Corner Camp or Pavels in the likelihood of the river rising as we are committed to safety and avoiding inconvenience for guests. The Rocky is a very special place and we have campers who first came as children and are now bringing their grandchildren. We expect our guests to treat the area respectfully, and only leave footprints and tyre tracks. The valley provides wonderful scenery and settings for bushwalking, birdwatching, photography, painting, bicycle riding, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing, or just kicking back relaxing by the river, listening to the soothing sounds of the water, birds, and the turtles and platypus splashing, or being amazed at the mirror like images on the waters surface on a still day or the flickering light of a campfire at night and the stars above.

This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. Cabin at Valley's End is our flagship accommodation at Figtree Farm. Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In wet weather, 2WD and AWD may need to park a short distance downhill from the cabin. In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Also in wet conditions they are not suitable for large caravans (in excess of 21 feet) unless you have some serious towing power (Landrover or RAM, for example). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional call of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

There are beautiful spots along the river that we made the most of, enjoying a nice swim, paddleboarding, and fishing. And as a bonus, the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fantastic views of the Richmond valley and great spot for a fire at sunset. Hosts Trent and Naarah were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this camp as great spot to spend a few days. Close to Lismore and hotspots like Bangalow and Nimbin. Clean toilets and shower plus firewood and eggs are available.

5 nights at Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

Wonderful stay, loved the quiet and privacy of the site, complete with waterhole! The hosts were great and Andrzej went above and beyond slashing a track for us to 4WD and get up close to the Border Ranges to then bush walk, not for the faint hearted but very rewarding. Also amazing to find out that Jim Flower was Jane’s Dad, all the great work him and others did to protect the pristine rainforest on the plateau from being logged back in the day. Will definitely be back.

A beautiful camping spot! So private and quiet. Crystal clear creeks, great hiking and an abundance of wildlife. Hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Amazing location. Amazing views. Trent & Naarah were very easy to deal with, great communication and made sure we were happy and set up before heading off for the night. Our son loved the pool and watching the sunset & sunrise with Wallabies at our door step.

Here's a review you can paste in: Naarah and Trent are incredible hosts. From the moment we arrived they made sure we had everything we needed, and they even set up a campfire spot for us so we could enjoy a fire under the night sky. And what a sky it was: the stars were unreal, and the view during the day was just as breathtaking. The facilities were great already, and since they're still being built out, this place is only going to get better. It's clear how much care they're putting into their land and their guests. We'd come back in a heartbeat if we get the chance. Highly recommend!

4 nights at "JALUM" Undulating Farmland!

My kids and I stayed for 3 nights camping by the big dam it was beautiful. The kids loved swimming and fishing in the dam. And loved the horses and ponies, although some of the cheekier ones liked to explore the campsite. Karen was very friendly and helpful. The stars were amazing, but you truely have to arrive to set up in daylight as there’s no lights to set up by. We definitely want to come back again.

A beautiful experience. I went with my 5 year old daughter and we had such great time. The place is so peaceful and is beautiful. A very mellow place. The creek was the highlight. Grant and his family are super friendly and helpful.

Wow — what a sensational place! We were genuinely gutted that we’d only booked one night. Wide River Water is easily one of the best places we’ve stayed, and we were completely blown away by how beautiful and peaceful it is. A special mention to Karen and Richard, who we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay. Richard took our son, along with the other children staying on the property, to feed the cows on the morning we left. It was such a great experience for the kids and a really lovely way to finish our stay. There are fire pits at each site which can be moved around to suit, and bagged firewood is available for $12 through an honesty box, which we thought was fantastic. We were also told that river dolphins occasionally visit, although unfortunately we didn’t get to see any on our visit. Even our neighbours were great. One of them came over to help me out when my lighter ran out of gas — just one of those little moments that sums up the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of the place. You can hear a little traffic from the Bruce Highway, which is about 2 km away, but honestly, don’t let that put you off. It really is a minor thing compared with everything else this place has going for it. We were genuinely sad to pack up and leave after just one night. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back — next time we’re staying for much longer! We highly recommend.

What a wonderful spot! Very relaxing, not too far out of town. We loved site one but any site would be great, big sites with plenty of space between campers.

We had a wonderful stay at Tyalgum’s land. The property was beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. It was a relaxing place to spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors. The area was well maintained, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay.

Great spot to set up for a few nights while exploring Mullumbimby and Byron. Grant was great, so friendly and accommodating. The campsite has all the basics you need and like others have said the outdoor hot shower is amazing!
