Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Binghi Station, once a large sheep station, was a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800 to mid 1900. Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-) Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down. BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended. ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character. The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful family memories. :-)

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Site 2. Just metres from the creek, under trees. Beware though, bats like to play in the trees and their droppings can hit your tent if you're too close. There are two porta loo's and a rustic shower as amenities, and the area is flat and grassy.

Really lovely sites next to the water with some of the cleanest toilets I've ever seen at a campsite! The river is beautifully clear with a couple of swings above it and plenty of places to enter and swim. If you happen to be here on the third Sunday of the month the local town Uki (3 minute drive) has a Sunday market that's worth visiting!

3 nights at "JALUM" Undulating Farmland!

Had a fantastic weekend away at Karen's place. The property is beautiful and so was the room we stayed in - clean, well set up and a great indoor space with fireplace , seating area and kitchen to use. Karen was such a lovely host and really made my birthday weekend special. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway - only 1.5 hours from Brisbane, but feels like you are worlds away. Just down the road from murwillimbah, pottsville and Byron. We did the rail trail via ebike which is just down the road. Will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Riverside Rest

Glenn & Zoe were very accommodating & welcoming & communicated well. Their property is just awesome! Easy to find & easy access to the 4 well maintained exclusive waterfront sites. Absolute peace & tranquility with everything you want when camping but don’t usually get all in the same location, expansive river views & access on any of the 4 sites to do whatever activity you want that involves water, the calming sounds of the ocean nearby, abundant water life & behind you have farm & bush life giving you the full experience with some of the starriest night skies I’ve seen on the coast with only a short easy drive to Yamba. We will be returning & thoroughly recommend coming & seeing for yourself

We loved camping here, so peaceful and quiet. The site was large and we'll maintained.Glenn and Zoe were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were able to use their boat ramp and jetty to launch and retrieve our boat. Will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Mororo Hobby Farm

The cabin is well maintained and was very clean. Ngaio was welcoming and friendly. Provided milk and eggs, plus all the condiments. Little snack draw as well. The animals are so friendly and don’t come into your space. Absolute amazing weekend. Would definitely come back. I have recommended this to a friend who is planning to stay a couple weekends from now.

Such a great spot. Plenty of room and the flowing stream was lovely to listen to all day. Each spot gets a picnic table too which was a great help for meals. Awesome for bird watching and sitting in nature. Will defs be back

Weekend Trip to Wideriverwater

This is our 2nd stay here and won't be our last. It has easy access from the road then through a gate and pick your site which are all marked. We were the only people there on our stay. There are toilets, firewood to purchase and each site has a fireplace. There are some friendly cows and sheep. Don't hesitate to stay here, you'll love it.

The Diggers camp was great. Tidy camp ground. Toilet facilities were better than expected. Short walk to centre of town. Food at pub was well worth the walk. Unfortunately didn't see any platypus, but the stroll was enjoyable.
