There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property).
The property is just
5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.

To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites.
The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet.
Please note:
Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance.
Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place.
Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase.
Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

New Shelter and BBQ area has now been completed next to the dam with a picnic table, seating and potable water available.
A wide variety of flora and fauna call these sensitive mangrove wetlands home. Ideal for birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts wanting to explore this special area.

We offer you a well located and secure camp-site to explore the North Coast or for that overnight stay while you are travelling to your destination and need a safe place to camp.
Our four campsites are spacious and are freshly mown flat grassed sites. Each campsite has 1 or 2 stone circles for campfires, with free kindling and free firewood supplied to all campsites. Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, family or group booking we have the campsite for you. We are family friendly and dog friendly.
Dungarubba Fields is a private, rural setting on six acres on Bundjalung country. Four of our camp sites are situated across a small bridge in the back paddock, and one camp site is situated just before the bridge for those self driving campervans with a wider wheel-base.
The paddock was once cleared and in recent years we have planted and cared for over 100 new Koala and rainforest trees.
After the Northern Rivers floods of 2022 we are now continuing the bush regeneration beside the Dungarubba wetland which borders our property.
Our camp-sites offer shade, space, wildlife and birdlife. Campfires are allowed 12 months a year depending on fire ratings and local conditions except on days of Total Fire Ban and the preceding evening going into a Total Fire Ban.
We supply the free firewood to each campsite as we understand how important the campfire is to the camping experience.
Outside the fire season we can supply a readymade Bonfire at an additional cost to your booking.
Hipcampers can access fresh drinking water (rainwater) from our rainwater tanks, with an accessible tap near our home.
Hipcampers have access to a downstairs flushing toilet at the house.
We offer a Portaloo for larger group bookings situated beside your camp site as an optional extra for an additional cost. The Portaloo needs to be booked when you make your booking.
The house on the property was originally built in 1903 as the Catholic Church of the nearby locality Riley's Hill.
In the 1940’s it was moved to the current site after low attendance by parishioners who didn’t want to have to row across the Richmond River and get their feet wet to attend Mass. The church sold the building in the 1980’s and it was raised off the ground with two new wings attached on either side to become a private residence.
The sugar cane and soybeans, however more surrounding land is being planted to Macadamia nuts which will change the look of the landscape in future.
During May to November of an evening, you can look out for the occasional cane fire which is a historic part of the harvesting of sugar.
The Richmond River and boat ramp is a short 2 minutes drive for both fishing and water skiing.
The Broadwater National Park with sand-dunes and a fishing beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The Pacific Highway is 7 minutes drive away. The beautiful coastal village of Evans Head with shops, a medical clinic and a patrolled beach is just a 15 minutes drive.
The nearest townships are Broadwater (2 fuel stations and a pub under new management), Coraki (junction of 2 rivers), Woodburn (pub with a bistro and a laundrette) and Evans Head (a township with most services).
We are a 45 minutes drive to Byron Bay and 25 minutes to the coastal city of Ballina up the Pacific Highway or 25 minutes drive inland to the city of Lismore.
We welcome friendly dogs and there is plenty of space for them to run around and chase balls or other dogs.
Our dog Stella is a 4 year old Blue Heeler, who greets people from the balcony barking as you drive in. Don’t let the barking fool you as she loves visitors and their dogs.
We expect owners to be responsible for their dogs and in particularly when there are Koalas close by.
We ask dogs not to roam at night as Koalas are nocturnal (and so are other critters) and night-time is when they choose their food tree for the next day and roam around. We are in Core Koala Habitat and love our koalas, we hope you do too.

We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin

Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.
Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates.
Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.

We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.

Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place.
Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase.

We offer you a well located and secure camp-site to explore the North Coast or for that overnight stay while you are travelling to your destination and need a safe place to camp.
Our four campsites are spacious and are freshly mown flat grassed sites. Each campsite has 1 or 2 stone circles for campfires, with free kindling and free firewood supplied to all campsites. Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, family or group booking we have the campsite for you. We are family friendly and dog friendly.
Dungarubba Fields is a private, rural setting on six acres on Bundjalung country. Four of our camp sites are situated across a small bridge in the back paddock, and one camp site is situated just before the bridge for those self driving campervans with a wider wheel-base.
The paddock was once cleared and in recent years we have planted and cared for over 100 new Koala and rainforest trees.
After the Northern Rivers floods of 2022 we are now continuing the bush regeneration beside the Dungarubba wetland which borders our property.
Our camp-sites offer shade, space, wildlife and birdlife. Campfires are allowed 12 months a year depending on fire ratings and local conditions except on days of Total Fire Ban and the preceding evening going into a Total Fire Ban.
We supply the free firewood to each campsite as we understand how important the campfire is to the camping experience.
Outside the fire season we can supply a readymade Bonfire at an additional cost to your booking.
Hipcampers can access fresh drinking water (rainwater) from our rainwater tanks, with an accessible tap near our home.
Hipcampers have access to a downstairs flushing toilet at the house.
We offer a Portaloo for larger group bookings situated beside your camp site as an optional extra for an additional cost. The Portaloo needs to be booked when you make your booking.
The house on the property was originally built in 1903 as the Catholic Church of the nearby locality Riley's Hill.
In the 1940’s it was moved to the current site after low attendance by parishioners who didn’t want to have to row across the Richmond River and get their feet wet to attend Mass. The church sold the building in the 1980’s and it was raised off the ground with two new wings attached on either side to become a private residence.
The sugar cane and soybeans, however more surrounding land is being planted to Macadamia nuts which will change the look of the landscape in future.
During May to November of an evening, you can look out for the occasional cane fire which is a historic part of the harvesting of sugar.
The Richmond River and boat ramp is a short 2 minutes drive for both fishing and water skiing.
The Broadwater National Park with sand-dunes and a fishing beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The Pacific Highway is 7 minutes drive away. The beautiful coastal village of Evans Head with shops, a medical clinic and a patrolled beach is just a 15 minutes drive.
The nearest townships are Broadwater (2 fuel stations and a pub under new management), Coraki (junction of 2 rivers), Woodburn (pub with a bistro and a laundrette) and Evans Head (a township with most services).
We are a 45 minutes drive to Byron Bay and 25 minutes to the coastal city of Ballina up the Pacific Highway or 25 minutes drive inland to the city of Lismore.
We welcome friendly dogs and there is plenty of space for them to run around and chase balls or other dogs.
Our dog Stella is a 4 year old Blue Heeler, who greets people from the balcony barking as you drive in. Don’t let the barking fool you as she loves visitors and their dogs.
We expect owners to be responsible for their dogs and in particularly when there are Koalas close by.
We ask dogs not to roam at night as Koalas are nocturnal (and so are other critters) and night-time is when they choose their food tree for the next day and roam around. We are in Core Koala Habitat and love our koalas, we hope you do too.

Experience the tranquility of our 113-acre property with 1.3 km of stunning Clarence River frontage, home to over 30 majestic Andalusian, Warlander, and other horse breeds roaming freely. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, The Ranch on Clarence offers the perfect getaway. At The Ranch on Clarence, we’ve designed our campsites to feel truly exclusive, with each spot carefully situated to provide privacy and a sense of seclusion.
Set up your self-contained tent or off-road caravan over looking the Clarence River and enjoy breathtaking views, from soaring cliffs to sandy beaches. Explore walking and mountain biking trails, spot platypus in the river, or unwind by peaceful rapids and swimming pools. For horse lovers, we offer personalized riding and equine experiences. Join a 1- or 2-hour River Ride, and if conditions are right, swim bareback with the horses in the river. For a unique thrill, hop aboard the Troopy Horse Safari and move with the herd as they gallop through the landscape.
Beyond horses, there’s plenty to enjoy: swim, kayak, or fish in the refreshing waters, explore scenic trails on foot or bike, and relax by the campfire while stargazing under clear skies.
Key Features: Exclusive, private campsites with 1.3 km of riverfront for off-road caravans and self-contained tents. Multi-day treks, River Rides, and the Troopy Horse Safari. Kayaking, fishing, swimming, and mountain biking. A flush toilet is available near the Homestead. Pets are welcome, however those inclined to chase livestock must be leashed or contained.

Amorata Eco Farm is a working sustainable farm with basic camping facilities located in Barkers Vale.
We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin
National
Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.
Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates.
Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Our stunning 2000 acre working Cattle property offers this beautiful private camping retreat right on the bank of the Severn River in the Ashford area. Our camping sites are located far enough from each other so that we can offer complete privacy during your stay where you will have no other campers around you for literally kilometers. The river is also great for kayaking, swimming and boating and has very large areas of small rapids along river.Relax around the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy our beautiful sunsets and star gazing, in the mornings you can enjoy the sounds of the beautiful bird song. The area is abundant with wildlife, including native birds, platypus and koalas.We are also located only 10kms from Pindari Dam which is another great spot for all water based activities. We are 10kms from Pindari Adventure Park which is a great spot to take kids. We are 25kms from Macintyre Falls and the Kwiambal National Parks which has a number of beautiful walks you can enjoy. Ben Falls, Goat Rock, Reedy Creek Winery and Zappers Winery are all close by as well.Campers must stay within the designated camping area whilst on the property.We have provided a fire pit for your enjoyment and can arrange firewood to be available upon request. Campers must be fully self sufficient and take all waste with them on departure.

Lovely campsite by a beautiful swimming hole. Grass was kept beautifully mowed, lots of fire pits to use and nice hot showers and flushing toilets. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful few days here. Well done to the owners for providing such a great spot to camp.

Katrina and her family were absolutely amazing and so kind. Her Husband and son went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay and were incredibly accommodating. We went for a dip and kayak in the creek a few times and water was surprisingly warm for the cold rainy weather! Ammenities were decent and the showers were nice and warm. Kids absolutely loved our stay. Quite a few campers there but everyone was respectful and kept to themselves. Spaced enough apart that you can’t hear those around. Had a great time enjoying the motorbike tracks. Will definitely be back again!!

I recommend this place despite not having the best camping experience, but I realise it was due mostly to my set up and the weather, so definitely not Peter's fault. I rocked up in a 2WD in the rain and the roads inside the campsite were pretty rough. I drove past the amenities area and there was no safe parking for 2WD so I decided to do without and go to camp area 4, which in my opinion is the most beautiful. I camped near the dam. The views from the top are stunning and I appreciate the fact that each area has its own shower and toilet. There are also some shelters but unfortunately all taken when I arrived (fairly late, around 5pm). I imagine the place must be stunning when sunny, unfortunately I did not dare to explore it in the rain, I left early in the morning. Again, nothing to do with the campsite but if you are in a 2WD and sleep in it, it might not be the best place if it's wet. When leaving in the morning, I saw plenty of wallabies. I will try to go back in a different car and in different weather!

Great location if you are looking for a spot to camp and want to explore the surrounding national parks in the rain forrest as well as Byron Bay. The spots are pretty close to each other but it's not bad if all you are planning to do is sleep there.

Great site options at Stuart's property! We found a shady spot amongst the trees. The outhouse is clean and has a great view.
Stuart also kindly lent us a gas bottle as mine had run out. Overall a wonderful stay despite the rainy weather.

Camping at the Showground totally exceeded my expectations! Setting is beautiful and serene - green mountains, cows wandering.
Amenities block was like new - spotlessly clean, hot showers, spacious.
Camp kitchen was large and rustic style with all the essentials.
Spectacular little town with the Tyalgum hotel within walking distance for a feed. All the little local stores are beautiful and quaint which adds to the charm of this area.

Stayed 2 nights at Bookies Bank, lovely property, hosts are great. Swimming was lovely also has a rope swing which the kids loved! Amenities are nice and close, it was busy so probably could have done with more regular cleaning. Lots of wildlife and very quiet spot.
