Look for the big red letterbox with the blue flag on the right. This spot is eople that think that they are the only ones left in the world. Once at the top, it's yours to live in peace and quiet. 56 acres of undulating hills covered with native bush land, with 10 cleared sites for you to set up camp. If you like an adventure then this mountain is for you. 2 sites called "Top of the world tent site 1 and tent site 2" are accessible by 4WD only (tent camping is advised) There is a step 19 degree road up to the penthouse summit thats at 1000ft. However if it is dry you can tow a camping trailer but only if you have a winch. If it rains the only way down is backwards tethered to trees via your winch. It's an adventure. Campers are welcome to have a campfire, there is plenty of timber on the ground that you can collect or bring your own. As long as there is no fire ban. There are some great bush walks you can enjoy, including down to the creek (about a 40 min walk). The creek is picturesque with lemon trees and peach trees along the edge while in season. There are 2 sites down at the creek called Firefly's and platypus and these are for off road self contained 4x4 campers and those with a tent. The creek is pristine and crystal clear unless it's raining. These 2 sites are absolutely private if you book them both. If you don't mind sharing the creek with another camper then you only need to book 1 site. There is also a 10 month of the year 30 metre high waterfall (depending on rain fall this waterfall can vary from massive water to slow water) and another seasonal waterfall. Don't forget the dam for swimming with the spa tub and fresh mountain spring water constantly flowing into it from an inch and a half poly pipe constantly overflowing into the dam. The water in the creek is safe to drink with no filter needed. The creek is running and crystal clear and very private. If you are in a 2 wheel drive RV/ Motorhome you can book the "Paw Paw hill site" or "a dam good view" There is one site that is all grass accessible in the dry weather. Plenty of drinking water is also available at all sites either via a tap or the creek running water. All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. If no portable toilet you can purchase one from many camping stores at a reasonable price before coming. Doing number 2 in the bush is totally unacceptable. Because this is a leave no trace camp site we do ask you to take all trash with you when you leave as well. There is no council rubbish collection in this area. We respect our beautiful paradise and we know you will appreciate it also. If you make a fire please leave it so I can mow around it once you leave. E.G Please remove all sticks.

Soulhaven is set on 50 stunning acres with lovely valley views and bush walks. Lots of grazing cows, abundant bird life, a cute dog and fireside jams 🎶 A short 15 minute drive takes you to Lismore, Kyogle and Casino where you can find shops and grocery stores for all your supply needs. We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

This beautiful property has been nurtured by my parents since 1983. As a boy I helped my parents remove large amounts of lantana weeds by hand. Other invasive weeds have been controlled, allowing the native species time and space to regenerate themselves into the perfect example of native Australian sclerophyll forest that you see today. My parents have since retired and I'm now honored to have the opportunity to share this remarkable environment with you.

Shuttlebus available to our wonderful hippy village. There are curiosity shops with very different stuff, and a smoking culture. There is nowhere else anything like it. You can do Nimbin in a day. If you have time to relax and unwind, you can do it over two days, and enjoy the restaurants and cafes. I have local knowledge. There are lookouts with spectacular views. Here there's unusual fruit trees, a trampoline, and a basketball court if you want to shoot a few hoops, weights equipment, and a martial arts dojo if you are curious about learning some self defence. There's a flat parking area for RV's and tents. It's a relatively small space - not an acre of grass. So it's a semi social area, and it's possible to interact and relax in the undercover area. There's a fire place at night, and a Babakiuaera where you can get Wifi and play cards. I'm a qualified driving instructor, so i know about vehicles and safe driving practices. some folks love it here and come back. It's a relatively small space, not suitable for everyone.

Figtree Farm at Findon Creek is a 600-acre natural oasis. Tucked away in a tranquil, secluded valley, this hidden gem is surrounded by Long Creek to the south and Findon Creek to the west, while the northern edge extends to the Dedicated Wilderness of the Border Ranges National Park. This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. Cabin at Valley's End is our flagship accommodation at Figtree Farm. Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Welcome to our farm, a peaceful retreat nestled in the lush hinterland of Northern NSW’s Northern Rivers region. Bordering the World Heritage-listed Nightcap National Park and the pristine Terania Creek, this is a sanctuary for those looking to disconnect from the noise and truly immerse themselves in the Australian bush. THE LAND & LOCATION Our property offers a unique gateway to the ancient subtropical rainforest. Whether you are here for adventure or a quiet escape, the landscape provides the perfect backdrop. Protesters Falls: Just 2.8km away (a 6-minute drive), this is one of the region’s most spectacular walks through towering Bangalow Palms to the base of the falls. Creek Life: Terania Creek flows right past your site. Spend your mornings spotting the elusive platypus or afternoons swimming in private natural holes. We’ve added a hammock by the water for the ultimate relaxation spot. Hinterland Gems: Use the farm as your base to explore The Channon Craft Markets, or take a scenic drive to the vibrant villages of Nimbin and Mullumbimby. THINGS TO NOTE Access: The road in features some classic country potholes. It is easily manageable in a 2WD, but we recommend taking it slow. Nature: This is a living farm. We provide repellent, but please bring a tick-safety kit and ensure pets are up to date with treatments. Sustainability: We are a "Leave No Trace" property. Please be prepared to take all rubbish with you to help us keep this environment pristine. YOUR COMFORT While this is an off-grid experience, we have added thoughtful facilities to make your stay easy, including a large timber gazebo, multiple dining spots, a clean eco-composting toilet, and a refreshing outdoor shower. We supply a tap for general use, but recommend bringing your own drinking supply. Enjoy the fresh country air and spend your nights stargazing under incredibly clear skies. We look forward to sharing this remarkable part of the world with you.

This expansive 600 acre farm is a place of joy, sharing and rare beauty! Over one kilometre of "Rocky Creek" runs through the Pecan Fields camp area, providing gorgeous waterholes for swimming, walks and great water front sites to set up camp for the weekend! You can even see Platypus in the early mornings, playing in the creek. All of the camp areas are easily access-able and flat, usually 2wd car is all you need. We also provide you with creature comforts such as a cold/ hot shower and fresh pit toilets :) When booking, only book 1 site per group, as the sites are large. You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp. Sorry, we can't cater for dogs due to camp being a native animal sanctuary. Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical. There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub or Channon Tavern, then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!
