There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

With a dam, tracks to explore, a running creek to fish and frolic in, and plenty of wide-open spaces to rest and relax. Our Creekside sites are in a large open paddock with creek frontage, near the road and readily accessed with 2wd vehicles. Or we have campsites in an elevated position which offer more privacy but do require a 4wd. Campers must be self-sufficient and have their own toilet - we have no facilities here. So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD adventure park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. We have sites both near the creek and facilities and up on the plateau. Our elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT tyres and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own sealed chemical camping toilet and an ensuite/privacy tent. If you don't have your own commercial chemical camping toilet then you will be given a choice of sites with access to facilities. We reserve the right to view/verify your toilet before allowing you access to the elevated/remote sites. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead when moving about the property. Please let us know if you wish to bring a dog and you will be allocated an appropriate site as some areas of the property are designated 'dog-free' camping zones. The common area (old shearing shed) has composting toilets, communal fridge, microwave, jug, drinking water, sink for washing up and table/chairs. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Sarabah is a 300 acre working cattle property located along the upper reaches of the pristine Canungra Creek and in the foothills of the Lamington National Park. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. Please message Steve 48 hours prior to arrival if you would like firewood. We currently have 8 campsites that can be booked: The Campground (site 1), The Secret Spot (site 2), The Picnic Ground (site 3), The Overflow (site 4), The Rock Shelf (site 5), The Nook (site 6), The Paddock (site 7) and The Cranny (site 8). All sites have creek frontage and are private and a reasonable distance away from other sites. Note: vehicles, camper trailers, caravans and toilets are not to be set up within 10m of the creek as per local government by-laws. When booking, select one of these 8 sites and you will have exclusive use of that site for your stay. Please note that the price is per person and all guests must be included when booking. Bookings can be altered (guests added and deleted) by the person making the booking and it is their responsibility to collect payment from others for whom they have booked and paid. Welcome to my beautiful 100 acres that backs on to Springbrook National Park. There are crystal clear freshwater creeks. Most campsites next to the creek. The property is mostly natural bush with some cleared patches for camping and horse grazing. The road entering the property is damaged due to the resent rain and you will need to drive through water. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. If you are a disturbance to other campers you will be asked to leave without a refund. PLEASE READ THE CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING!!!

We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Welcome to Emu creek Retreat One of the best destinations for hiking, camping, bushwalking, swimming, Kayaking, fishing, mountain bike riding (bicycles only), bird watching, 4wdriving and even fossicking, since the old gold mining town "Lunatics" was not far away from us. Dogs, men's best friend, are definitely welcome. If travelling in a 2wd please contact us before booking, some of the campgrounds have to be reached by crossing the creeks, Girard camp is one of them where the office and the showers are, at times this crossing is under water and is only accessible by 4wd. Other campgrounds are available near the entry gate that don't require a creek crossing for access and toilets are available on some of them. One side of the property is bound by Emu Creek and the other by Gerard Creek, both creeks have enough water with some permanent deep water holes for all year activities. Sightseeing inside the property we have Girard Falls, a 50m deep waterfall, nature at it's best. The only entry into the property is by Emu Creek Rd a gravel road. Emu Creek Retreat is located in the far north-east of New South Wales. We are approximately 200 km from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast, 150km from Byron Bay. Tabulam is the nearest town 12km away. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a post office, pub and police station. Casino is 68km away and Tenterfield 78km. Once a working cattle property, in the 90's was converted into a camping and 4WD park. Two properties combined with close to 2800 acres, fronting Paddy’s Flat Rd for 2km and extends 7km to the back fence bordering a 22000 acre cattle property. The front section is undulating with plantation forest (spotted gum) and bushland, towards the back it has mountains, steep terrain and millions of trees with spectacular views and great hiking tracks.

Stonesthrow is a rural property in the Illinbah valley, nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, with council approval for limited camping (4WD only - leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD adventure park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. We have sites both near the creek and facilities and up on the plateau. Our elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT tyres and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own sealed chemical camping toilet and an ensuite/privacy tent. If you don't have your own commercial chemical camping toilet then you will be given a choice of sites with access to facilities. We reserve the right to view/verify your toilet before allowing you access to the elevated/remote sites. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead when moving about the property. Please let us know if you wish to bring a dog and you will be allocated an appropriate site as some areas of the property are designated 'dog-free' camping zones. The common area (old shearing shed) has composting toilets, communal fridge, microwave, jug, drinking water, sink for washing up and table/chairs. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Welcome to my beautiful 100 acres that backs on to Springbrook National Park. There are crystal clear freshwater creeks. Most campsites next to the creek. The property is mostly natural bush with some cleared patches for camping and horse grazing. The road entering the property is damaged due to the resent rain and you will need to drive through water. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. If you are a disturbance to other campers you will be asked to leave without a refund. PLEASE READ THE CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING!!!

Our camp area is situated on Rowlands creek, offering 6 acres of creek flat with 3 waterholes. There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

Sarabah is a 300 acre working cattle property located along the upper reaches of the pristine Canungra Creek and in the foothills of the Lamington National Park. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. Please message Steve 48 hours prior to arrival if you would like firewood. We currently have 8 campsites that can be booked: The Campground (site 1), The Secret Spot (site 2), The Picnic Ground (site 3), The Overflow (site 4), The Rock Shelf (site 5), The Nook (site 6), The Paddock (site 7) and The Cranny (site 8). All sites have creek frontage and are private and a reasonable distance away from other sites. Note: vehicles, camper trailers, caravans and toilets are not to be set up within 10m of the creek as per local government by-laws. When booking, select one of these 8 sites and you will have exclusive use of that site for your stay. Please note that the price is per person and all guests must be included when booking. Bookings can be altered (guests added and deleted) by the person making the booking and it is their responsibility to collect payment from others for whom they have booked and paid.
