We’re a small family on a beautiful 5-acre farm next to the Brunswick River in Mullumbimby. We practice permaculture and organic fruit and vegetable farming. Camp under shady trees or in a grassy paddock. We are 10 mins from the Brunswick Heads rivers and beaches. Simple amenities including an outdoor shower. You can purchase firewood or bring your own. Dogs permitted as long as they are kept on a leash or kept within the campsite and it's left clean. All rubbish must be removed.
Restricted numbers so you can be sure you won't feel overcrowded. Contact us if any days aren't available as we often get cancellations.
There's a country feel yet it's 3 mins away from the thriving township of Mullumbimby. Lots of cafes, artisan shops, Kiva spa, Banya bathhouse and amazing healthy food everywhere. Or enjoy the nightly pilgrimage of the flying foxes across the evening sky.

During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. the area has a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.

Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks.
the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats.
there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs..
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.
other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices.

A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.
If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. Please use the directions sent to you after placing a booking to stay at this property.

The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km).
Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies.
The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding.
Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive.
The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away.
The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast.

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.
If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. Please use the directions sent to you after placing a booking to stay at this property.

We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

We are a working turf farm located just off the highway at Pottsville. It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park).
The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by.
Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure.

Welcome to our PECAN RIDGE campsite @ Commissioners Creek!
The property is set at the foot of Mount Jerusalem National Park. Mountain-view camping site offer a peaceful escape, with cool, fresh air and the scent of pine. During the day, the mountains shift in the light, something sharp and bright, other times soft and blue. The highlight is the sunset, with the sky turning orange, pink, and purple as the sun sets behind the peaks.
At night, the mountains stand under a starry sky, creating a calm, timeless atmosphere. Camping here isn't just about the view- it's about connecting with nature and enjoying the quiet moments.
There is about a 20-minute bush walk to the mountain lookout near the campsite, where you can view the whole countryside from the lookout.
There is a flushing toilet, shower, camp kitchen.
* Power hook-up is available upon request for some sites at an ADDITIONAL COST of $10 per night for tents or $20 per night for caravans/camp-trailer which is payable in cash on ARRIVAL. PLEASE NOTE, you will need to supply your own power cord approx 30 metres long.
* small fire-pits are allowed (must bring your own) please keep contained and off the grass.
* We are DOG FRIENDLY, please be considerate of other campers and restrain your dogs from roaming other sites, dog droppings must be disposed of in the bin (please tie bag)
* WE HAVE 5 dogs that occupy the area of OUR HOME, please DRIVE SLOWLY PAST THE HOUSE.
Our beautiful property is just 10 minutes from Clarrie Hall Dam (Crams Farm) 25 minutes drive from Uki, where you will find a supermarket, cafes, pub and bottle shop. Don't miss the legendary Uki Pie shop. Every Saturday morning Uki hosts a local farmers market. The Gold Coast airport is just 60 minutes away and . Nimbin and its free outdoor swimming pool is a short 35 minute drive and the amazing Channon village, vintage pub and local waterfalls are just another 25 minutes further on.

Our family farm is a working cattle property where you will see cows and calves and share the space while they graze on the rolling hills. Our picturesque farm is nestled at the end of a road surrounded by Mount Jerusalem and Nightcap National Park. Our farm offers a unique camping experience where visitors can escape the hustle and bustle and relax and immerse themselves in the tranquility.
Our farm is a situated approximately an hour from the Gold Coast, 40 mins from Nimbin and Murwillumbah, an hour from Byron Bay and only 20 mins from the beautiful historical village of Uki.
Our farm boasts rolling hills, lush green pastures, and serene creeks and dams. Whether you’re pitching a tent or parking your caravan, you’ll wake up to breathtaking views every morning.

Where to start....
♡Amazing Hosts, Jane, Brad, Benji and Pepi are the best. So welcoming on arrival and there if you need them but leave u in peace to enjoy their property and the surrounding area.
♡Property is so very easy to access, is level and is so lovingly maintained. Caters for those who need or want water and power and or those like us, who went totally of grid. (Although we also got our water and firewood from Brad / Jane) on the property when we wanted it). A little romantic dam with water lillies complements the lushous green grass and was within a short walk from our site but the bird life and sounds were beyong terrific, like a song. Neighbouring cows can talk your ears off and watching the calf's run and bounce around like toddlers...was just so cute.
♡The Little town of Crabbes Creek and its people like Brad and Jane, are just beautiful, warmed heart old fashioned (polite, interactive, pleasent, well mannered) people. All so very welcoming to their little town. Must try out the 'General Store' it's automatic door is operated by a lady pulling a string to open it for you.... hungry, can't go wrong with the Thai truck, food is delicious.
♡The surrounding area has so much to do, Byron Bay is not far, the Rail Trail is great and so easy, so much fun and shops in Ocean Springs incl. a little Coles is 20mins down the road.
♡ So restful, so beautiful, so peaceful, certainly recharged our batteries. Home away from home...

We had a fantastic stay at Doon Doon Farm. Camping on a working cattle farm made it feel like a true country escape, and the views of Doughboy are absolutely beautiful.
The creek on the property was a highlight for our family. It’s small and shallow in places with a few deeper swimming holes, perfect for cooling off and for kids to explore and play. Our kids spent hours splashing around and running through the open paddocks, which made it a very relaxing stay for the adults too.
It’s a peaceful, quiet spot with plenty of room to spread out. Sitting around the fire at night under clear skies was the perfect way to end the day. With very little light pollution, the stars are incredible and it’s a great place for stargazing or night photography.
Helpful tips: Road access is good, with a short drive across grass paddocks to reach the camping areas. There are several campsites across the property so it still feels spacious.
There are no toilets, showers, or drinking water, so you need to be self-contained and bring your own water.
Phone reception was good during our stay, although internet can be intermittent. Crams Farm / Clarrie Hall Creek is about 5 minutes away with toilets and a great spot for kayaking or a swim.
The village of Uki is around 10–15 minutes away with a grocery store, cafés, and the Mount Wollumbin Hotel which does great food.
We’d happily stay again.

Beautiful flat, grassy spot over looking the dam.
We have been coming here for around 3 years now and Kirsty has always kept it spotless and well looked after. Its our go to hip camp when we just want to get away from it all and relax.
Its right on the bike rail trail and a leisurely 10 minute drive to the beach.

We had the best experience at Doon Doon Farm. The sites are spectacular and very spacious. The firewood was excellent quality and the stars were absolutely unreal. We are especially grateful for the buggy ride with Anna, who showed us the site we missed out of due to the rain. We got some great farm lore and really enjoyed our chat. We had a lovely stay at Jalum. Very cosy and well maintained property. Karen was great to deal with. The Horses and Alpaca were majestic. When to go
Like nearby Byron Bay, the weather is kind all year round, so there’s no really bad time to go, although it does get a bit rainy in February and March. It gets very busy during summer and Easter school holidays, when it pays to book campsites well in advance.
Know before you go
- Go retro in style and hire a vintage caravan, set up with everything you need. It will be waiting for you at the camping site of your choice. https://retropod.com.au/
- Brunswick Heads is almost exactly halfway between Ballina and the Gold Coast airport in Queensland, which doubles your flight options. If you do fly in or out of the Gold Coast remember there’s a one-hour time difference between NSW and Queensland thanks to daylight saving in summer.
- The Brunswick River is perfect for kayaking. Hire a kayak from the Scout Hall (across the footbridge from town) and paddle the Brunswick River brunswickriverkayaktours.com.au
- Ask at the Brunswick Heads Visitors Centre (7 Park St, Brunswick Heads) for a free ‘clue sheet’ and use it to follow the Brunswick Heads Fairy Trail to find little fairy houses that have been hidden all over town. Adults love it just as much as kids.
