This quaint 1,582-acre park is best known for its good fishin' and shaded campsites.
Welcome to bass paradise in this Texas state park. Anglers love the challenge of landing a trophy. Have a great time on the hike and bike trail, or follow the lakeshore on Beaver Slide Trail. This lake is all about enjoying the simple pleasures of outdoor life.
Fishing piers and cleaning stations mean you're likely to catch dinner. Be aware of is the catch-and-release program. Largemouth bass have specific size requirements and limits. Catch up to five catfish and 25 crappie per day. There is a limit of 50 no-wake motorized boats on the lake at any given time. Stretch your legs on the 4.1-mile Wolfpen Hike and Bike Trail. This rolling, easy jaunt explores the forest and prairie around the lake.
