Creeks, wooded trails, and rolling blue mountains in every direction make Rogue Valley a forested paradise. For quiet, rustic camping near Ashland, head up to high country. The hills of Klamath and Rogue-River Siskiyou National Forests to the south offer miles and miles of smoky blue mountain views. Set up camp right along the Pacific Coast Trail for legendary hiking opportunities, ranging from easy to extra challenging climbs. Rest your feet under the shade of the conifer forest, or jump right into one of the many rolling creeks that meander through these mountains. Or, if you want the authentic camping experience without roughing it too hard, rustic cabins can be booked for a little extra comfort, and the culture, history and theater scene of Ashland offers a great break from the woods. Tucked right into the foothills of the Siskiyou and Cascade mountains, and just 15 miles over the California border, little Ashland packs a camping punch.
You'll have great privacy up in the meadow!
