A wooded area in the back of our forty acre farm with campfire pit and multiple spaces for small tents. There is one space for a large family tent near the outhouse. There are walking trails through the woods and a rope to swing on over a creek next to another fire pit.
Off the property, there are many activities to fill your days with adventures. There are four public beaches within 5 miles of Outback. Watch a sunset while visiting one of several of our beautiful Lake Michigan beaches or swim in the warmer waters of Lake Charlevoix. There are many public access/boat launches on smaller lakes and nearby, the Jordan River is Michigan’s first federally designated “Wild and Scenic River,” great for canoes. The Little Traverse Wheelway is a 26 mile paved rail-trail along the Lake Michigan shore. The Jordan Valley

We have been building the soil of this farm back up for the last 32 years. Local farmers have called us the wonder farmers! We have used organic methods for our fruits and vegetables. We raised chickens for their eggs and had Irish Dexter Cattle that we raised for sale as breeding stock or grass fed beef. Currently we are retired and out traveling and kayaking more during our golden years but welcome others when we are home.
