Set in an old growth Redwood Forest one feels connected with nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and yet, one can be transported to the necessities within the little towns in the San Lorenzo Valley within the Santa Cruz Mountains or down to the Beautiful beaches of Santa Cruz County. This land area was transformed from wilderness during the days of succession from the Mexican Land Grants and the Statehood of California. Once a booming area of logging to build the homes and businesses in the San Francisco area, at one time many old growth (ancient) Redwood groves were totally wiped out. This particular grove in our micro camp survived. You will be sleeping, playing, meditation, camnping among some very very very old living creatures on the planet - these redwoods. Did you know the Redwoods grow in a circle and their roots entertwine to provide a stronger support system together? Is that a metaphor for how we nature lover, naturalists, environmentalists are coming together and becoming stronger together in order to withstand some of the environmental damage that has been inflicted, and we join together in an awakening to protect and preserve and help our planet begin the journey to once again thrive?!!! A portion of the proceeds from you camping in our zen-like micro primitive campsite goes to Nature Education projects, specifically to support the Nature Connect Project.
