At the end of Adobe Road towards the Sacramento River was the first registered estate after the United States annexed California from Mexico. Our place has a deep history in agriculture and recreational activities like hiking, boating, rafting, kayaking, fishing and hunting. Our property is adjacent to Cottonwood Creek Nature Preserve which is BLM land. A 5 minute walk from our campsites puts you right into the realm of mother nature where you will experience miles of what nature has to offer. Hike or ride to Cottonwood Creek and then to the Sacramento River. Take a swim in the creek and cool off or just enjoy your surroundings. When you get back, enjoy being surrounded by 200+ year old oak trees and pass out by the fire jamming on the guitar drinking some good microbrew while reminiscing of your days events. It doesn't get any better than that. The best part is, we are only 3.5 miles east of I-5 so it is very accessible and easy to find if you are looking in the right place. There are many great lakes just minutes from us and Mt. Shasta is just north on I-5 an hour and a half away. Lassen Volcanic National Park is only 50 minutes away so there is plenty to do and see if you are bold enough.
