Motion Recalibration Station - RV/T

This is a great spot, and has a wonderful host! The cooking and lounging/chilling amenities on the mountain top are well maintained and have a cool view day and night. I definitely plan to come back

Excellent campsite right outside the National Park entrance, and a great alternative to the first come first serve sites. We felt secluded enough next to the mountains and had a great view of the desert. It was too windy for us to make a fire, but we saw several good sized pits around. There is a portable toilet and a trash bin on site. Michael is super kind and accommodating and we would definitely come here again!

This was the absolute perfect campground for a fun weekend away. I thought of this spot as a camping edition of a hostel- just a great sense of community. The camping spots were clean and in breathtaking locations. Michael was extremely welcoming and had amazing follow up if there were any questions etc. Amazing experience!!

My wife and I had a blast staying here it is a great place to camp a stay away from the crowds during the busy season you can have a little seclusion and your own piece of the desert. The fire pits awesome but you're not allowed to have fires when the winds over 10 miles per hour. I'm guessing normally there aren't any issues but when we stayed there was one evening when the neighbors were having a party that was quite loud other than that it was a perfect place for us and it's really close to the park just a few miles away you can't get better location wise.

We had a great time at motion!! Our camp site was well kept, Micheal was friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed he was right there to help out. Would definitely go back!!!

Great location on the south side of the 62hwy. Surrounded by beautiful 360 views and only 10min from downtown Joshua Tree or main entrance to the park. I'd definitely return!

Motion Recalibration Station is a BEAUTIFUL place to camp! The RV/T area was perfect for our youth group of 13... with places for hiking, nature watching (we saw chuckwalla lizards, quail and big-horn sheep!), and relaxing together around the awesome campfire ring. Michael is a wonderful host (and Christy is great too!) I will definitely camp here again and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants an awesome experience in Joshua Tree! Thank you!
