Fantastic and beautiful site with massive ancient trees! We camped at Site 1, which seemed larger than the 2 tent limit on the description. Other than we and another camper accidentally setting off our car alarms, we couldn’t hear any of the other campers on the other sites. Site 1 is set back on its own long private road, we felt completely secluded and enjoyed the shade of the trees. There’s a 6ft picnic table and trees with hammock potential. We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a hitch carrier and there was room to turn around to drive off, however it was a bit snug. A couple of stumps are in the drive path, they could possibly be cut a little shorter for walking safety. There is a convenient port-a-potty at the entrance of the site, but could use some deodorizer. This site is the furthest from the river, but the path is easy and peaceful. The river is mostly shallow, great for water play for little kids. We carried water to our site from the river to wash dishes with. I would advise bringing a wagon because it was quite heavy! The location was easy to find via GPS, but be sure to have the map downloaded as the signal is very weak or non-existent. You can drive into Forks, approx 2-3 mi away and cell signal is available, but doesn’t work outside of town. There is a public park we took our trash to as there is no receptacle on the camp property. It’s about a 20-25 min drive to La Push and Rialto Beaches. Justin was super quick in responding and answered all our questions.
