This private, breathtaking property is nestled directly on the Neversink River, located just one mile from Exit 109 off NY-17 (new I-86). Join us on 3 sprawling acres, and enjoy the serene beauty of the Neversink River. The property is ideal for anyone looking to escape to a secluded, quiet area, with everything from Bald Eagles, Deer, Rabbits, and other local wildlife. Fell free to step right into the shallow river, just footsteps from your tent, and enjoy some smores by the riverside firepit. The river typically doesn't exceed more than 3 feet of depth throughout the entire property (unless high rain totals). Relatively short drives to local attractions include the newly renovated Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun Park (1.2 miles), Resorts World Catskills Casino (2.6 miles), the Kartrite Indoor Water Park (2.9 miles), and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (18.4 mile), home to the 1969 Woodstock music festival. 2 gas stations, a liquor store and supermarket are also within 2 miles of the property, as well as local eateries. We recommend bringing inflatables and or kayaks to take advantage of the beautiful river. Guests can drop in a few miles up river, and float down to the campsite. Trip can take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on current flow and or paddle strength. We hope to have you stay with us!

Two hours from NYC, close to skiing (hunter mountain/ Windham , Kaaterskill falls, Woodstock, Hudson, Saugerties. FAQ Is my rental secluded? Our property is 8 acres, exactly the same as seven football fields. From your private deck and the big window, you will not see any other houses as far as eyes can see. We added fence panels to make it even more private. We have attached a satellite picture of the property to give you a better idea. As required by zoning law, there is a larger cabin on the property. But it is far enough and visually isolated enough that you won't feel it's presence (at least from the feedback we got from other guests.) We are located in a rural hamlet and a mile down the road there is a tiny town with two cafes , two bars and two restaurants. But your place is one New York block distance away from the street towards tree filled uninhabited area, adding to the sense of seclusion. I have never been in a tiny house, what can I expect? The "tiny house nation" style tiny houses are around 144 to 250 sqft, ours is 144 sqft. So,we are on the "smaller" side. Our guests have commented that its actually does not feel cramped. You will have heating, AC, hot shower, flushing toilet, kitchenette for basic cooking, small fridge, queen bed etc. You also have a private deck and a private outdoor fireplace to make S'mores and to grill. Are pets allowed? We just require that they should never be left alone and peace pick up after them. Our cleaning company charges a pet fee. If you forgot to pay it or decided to bring a pet last minute, please leave the amount as a tip to the cleaners. That way the cleaners get to keep the money and then they won't report the pet to the cleaning company. This also saves us the hassle of going back and forth with the cleaning company, reviewing the camera footage and ultimately paying it out of our own pockets. Also, please keep in mind that the house is really small at 144 sqft which may be too cramped for some large dogs. I work from home, how is the WiFi? We have had multiple guests who worked from home during the pandemic. Our provider is spectrum (the monopoly in the area). Luckily, outages are very rare and get fixed promptly (you may have to restart the router). Speed is always good for multiple simultaneous video calls and movie streaming. Do you provide firewood? Not yet! You do not need firewood to heat the house. If you want to use the outdoor fireplace, look for 'Campwood' signs and buy from our neighbors.(Also @ Walmart, Stewart gas stations etc.) What about Towels-Soap-Linens-Hot water? Is there heating/cooling? Can we cook? Yes! Yes! Yes! and Yes!. Think of all the amenities a hotel provides plus a tiny kitchen. Hot plate, refrigerator, electric kettle, drip coffee, plates, cutlery - we have all that we could cram into the tiny space. Our guests use the outdoor fireplace for BBQ and smores! Can I check in early? or Check out late? No and Yes. Due to the super strict covid19 cleaning process, we can no longer offer early check in. However, we can offer late checkout up to an hour. Please inform us in advance so that the cleaning crew can adjust accordingly.

the locals know our street because of the indigenous people and early Dutch settlers mixing with the slaves. Much history here, with the small town of stone houses, making Hurley a national historic destination. This serene is secluded on a mountain surrounded by trees with seasonal views. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you. Learn more about this land: Feels like you’re away from civilization but yet close to all the Hudson valley has to offer. 15-20min from Woodstock, rosendale, stone ridge, Rhinebeck, red hook, New Paltz and Mohawnk short 30 min drive. The glampsite is a yurt with a fire pit and a full modern bathroom just a short walk away. For a small fee, you can also rent our bikes for riding the nearby rail trail or just visit the waterfall 2 miles away. Wood available for purchase. everything you’ll ever need for a cozy stay outdoors. we chose this spot because of the tiny shelter it afforded during what was going to be below freezing temps. The kitchen space and bed set up was much appreciated and allowed us to focus enjoying the stay itself. The owners were super helpful getting us setup and providing a welcoming space. Bring layers and everything you need to keep warm in the winters - we even caught a light snow storm on our morning of departure! would come back again.

I loved everything about this place. It felt welcoming and cozy from the moment we arrived. When I messaged Sam, he responded right away and provided everything we needed. My partner and I accidentally caused an issue with the plumbing, and we felt truly sorry about it, but Sam was incredibly understanding and even comforted me during the situation. I’m very grateful for his kindness. We stayed at the tiney camper with spring tub and brook. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place.

This was perfect! We stayed for a night on a cool fall night. Lots of space, and included a picnic table and fire ring. The brewery was great (we were there on a Saturday) the portapotty is a bit of a walk from this particular site, but it wasn’t too bad! The farmers market was walkable, but also a short drive. Be sure to check out the farmers market while you are there! Would definitely stay again.

We love having chill rock climbers, hikers and families on our farm/wedding venue.  It's not a campground!  It's just a super cool place to have some privacy and a camp fire and be really close to the best hiking and climbing, and swimming holes and farmers markets and road biking around.Horse farm / Wedding venue super close to Gunx, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Lipman Park (Mt biking) Great for rock climbers, families, hikers, horse folks.Sites are private with fire pits. It is $25/ person per night!Strict cancellation policy so if not sure, just book for 1 person to guaranty a space and settle up upon arrival when you know your actual plans and numbers ?So, we do weddings on some summer /fall weekends.   You camp in a totally different part of the property and are no where near the wedding activity at all.  Occasionally, the music is audible.  We do our best to let the wedding folks have their fun without irritating neighbors and campers, but feel free to check in with us before booking.

Not suitable for parties or loud groups. For generations, the majestic waterfall has been revered for its spectacular beauty. It’s considered a sacred site central to local land rematriation work with the Kanienkeha:ka. Coursing between two outcroppings in a deep ravine, the waterfall crashes down over mossy rock shelves into emerald swimming holes and through dramatic clay beds. It’s one of those extraordinarily beautiful spots on earth that make you feel like you are in another world. It's about a 10 minute hike to the waterfall where you can spend the day swimming, exploring the clay beds and looking for fossils in the 280 million year old gorge. In the evening, make a campfire and fall asleep under the stars listening to the river below. The hike is steep and appropriate footwear is required. All hiking is at your own risk. Although your path to the waterfall is private and the waterfall is on private property, there may be other guests or locals that access the waterfall further down the road. There is no glass or alcohol allowed at the falls. Be aware that you may hear your camping neighbors in the woods. There are 5 gallon solar shower bags that you can use at your campsite. You are responsible for filling them and putting them in the sun to heat the water. This is a leave no trace site. Take all your trash with you when you leave. Bring your own biodegradable soap for dishes and toilet paper for the port-a-potty! Firewood is available onsite for $1 per log. The Schoharie Valley is said to be the most fertile valley east of the Mississippi. It is still wild, unspoiled country and there are many local farms stands with fresh produce and organic meat close by. Within a 5 miles radius is a general store, Scrumpy Ewe Cidery, Panther Creek Arts, Rooted Movement, the Sap Bush Country Store and Café, and Mustang Valley (a wild mustang sanctuary). Nearby hikes include Looking Glass Pond and Vroman's Nose, and others.

There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. This piece of land was developed by my mother, and named after my grandmother: The Awakening Garden is a translation of her name in Chinese. It is tucked in between the Hudson River (8 miles to the East) and the Catskill Mountains (10 miles to the west). It is just 6 miles from the Village of Saugerties and 14 miles to Woodstock, NY. The piece available for camping is 10 acres, but the entire Garden is comprised of 98 acres of rolling land (most of it in a forestry protection plan) bordered on the west by acres of marshland. Many trails criss-cross the Garden and lead one to pretty or interesting vistas including a large mountain laurel patch, ancient graveyard, and different stands of mixed wood forests. There’s lots of wildlife both on land and in the marshes.

It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

Learn more about this land: A grassy meadow nestled between a forested ridge the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, an open access walking and bike path. The Rosendale Rail Trail Cafe is just across the meadow from you and Rosendale trestle bridge is a short bike or walk away. We do have hot water showers and heated bathrooms in the Owlwood. Use our hand drawn map to find your way around the farm. Please drive extremely slowly while on the farm road, there and kids and critters everywhere and your car will thank you! Also, we encourage everyone to drive as little as possible while on the farm, why drive when you can walk and enjoy the land. If you want to sleep in a car or rv make sure to contact us so we can let you know where to car camp. No cars are allowed in Red Fox Meadow. Our 75 acres is a wonderful, diverse mix of habitat, harmoniously integrated with our small farm. This land was the homestead of the very first non native settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. Before that, it was the land of the Mahican native Americans. They named it "valley of the butternut trees", or Wyomanock. The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you! Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond or artesian spring fed pool. Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

**Please confirm you have read our property description and rules before booking** Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Visit their website for list of proper gear and rules. We do rent some of the equipment needed.
