Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, this house in the trees boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep.

Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. Tullihas in the Trees provides a perfect remote and rustic getaway for anyone.

Because there is no electricity, the treehouse can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We provide a fan for warm nights and a small propane heater to take off the chill in the winter - but sleeping bags and warm clothes are recommended for cold months. We do regularly spray for bugs, but be prepared to see an occasional fly, ladybug, spider, or wasp, as they often try to get inside - they think the treehouse is cool too!

Staying at the treehouse was even better than we had expected. We have two kids ages 7 & 11 and surprised them with this little trip. They kept saying thank you for bringing us, we love it here! They wanted to stay more nights and were already asking when we could go again. The treehouse is next to an Amish farm so we walked down the road and looked at the animals. You can hear all of the animals at the farm and the kids liked that too. The treehouse and views were calm & relaxing. I would definitely recommend it. It would be nice for a family or even better as a couples mini getaway. If you bring a hammock, make sure you bring the hammock hooks because we didn’t realize there weren’t any there and we were unable to hang it up.

We had the loveliest time! Right before pulling in our camper died - with the hospitality of our hosts and a passing by neighbor - we found the issue and got the camper running and we were able to enjoy our stay.
The treehouse itself is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated. The view is wonderful and the sunset was so peaceful. The drive in is just as beautiful, too!
The bathroom was very clean, as was the rest of the rental. There is a battery powered fan, which was nice during the hot hours of the day. One thing we recommend for ease - bringing your drinking water. We will definitely be back!

Finding this place on the app was awesome. Seeing it in person brought a tears to my eyes. This location was a surprise for my four yr old. but I think it brought out the child in my wife and I. Host were just as wonderful. We are so grateful to them for letting us stay at this unique place. We hope to come back soon. Our daughter London (Aka Beetle) favorite part were the steps, swings and swing chair.

I highly recommend the treehouse to all! The host put so much detail into it and it is such a lovely and secluded space to spend time. There are two air mattresses to sleep on and room for a guest to camp. There were plenty of chairs and outdoor seating and she provided lanterns as well as a pot and french press and mugs to make coffee. You get a lovely view of the stars and some grazing cows too. We got to go horseback riding which was absolutely amazing in the fall. It does get very dark so you will want to walk with a lantern everywhere you go or flag your guests down if they arrive at night as there is a lack of service, and definitely bring blankets. Overall, The treehouse exceeded my expectations and it was so quaint and adorable.

My friend and I have the best time here! We do not have enough great things to say about this place (: we brought our three dogs and spent two nights here and loved being out in the country with no cell service. The treehouse was so cute! And so well-kept. We had enough weather to actually hang and sleep in hammocks the first night. We actually got to meet our host while in a walk, and she stopped and dropped off firewood for us. I cannot wait to stay here again!

A beautifully crafted and thoughtfully designed getaway in secluded Ohio hills. What an incredible place to stay. Our hosts were flexible and welcoming despite our showing up late and every detail in the treehouse was carefully considered. A very special and loved place. We look forward to going back someday.

My husband and I went here to celebrate my birthday and we absolutely love it!

It stormed the first day we got there and I love to watch a good storm and this treehouse was perfect bc they have so many places to still be outside but stay covered and dry.
The second day the sun came back out and we spent our time exploring the area and cooling off in the creek right behind the treehouse.
The sunsets were absolutely stunning and I loved sitting on the swing up on the open second floor enjoying the view and sipping some coffee.
Most importantly there is very little cell service which is definitely a plus, perfect way to unwind and unplug for awhile and just enjoy the nature around you!

We loved it so much I already booked another trip next month and can’t wait!
