My weekend here was so wonderful! Kellie is such a gracious host, greeting us with homemade bread, walking us to the nearby waterfall and even helping deliver first aid to my pup when I was stuck without supplies! Her hospitality just blew me away.
The site has a huge fire pit with all the wood we could imagine, space for two tents on level, padded ground and a natural spring nearby. It’s a private spot but includes parking so you don’t have to haul your things far.
If private, wooded camping near a secluded waterfall sounds like your jam, absolutely book here!
Our host was so incredibly sweet. She helped us every step of the way to find the spot. She was so hospitable and generous. We forgot our tarp and she gladly let us use one of hers. Her dogs were so cute and nice!! Definitely recommend staying here to anyone!!
Kellie was an amazing, gracious host! Her campsite is adorable and very private, with access to a delicious natural spring - getting to hear all the birds and insects at night with no other sounds around was such a gorgeous, rejuvenating gift. Definitely check out the waterfalls, the hike is easy and fun and has a spectacular payoff. Highly recommend this spot!
Best. camping. ever.
Staying at Fawkes Holler was by far the best camping experience ever! We had everything we needed and then some. The site has 2 flat tent areas, a picnic table, a bench, 2 chairs, a fire pit with a small grate for cooking, some basic supplies, hose for wash water, and a primitive latrine just down the hill. Kellie was a perfect host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. She was available to help us with anything we needed. Her house was on the other side of the treeline giving us plenty of privacy. And the waterfall was just a moderate hike away and absolutely gorgeous, plus we had it all to ourselves! It really was the best camping trip I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to stay again!
