Hello everyone , We are so excited having campers come and experience this beautiful piece of property. The 130 acres has been in our family for nearly 70 years now. Ever since I can remember there’s just such a beautiful feeling that you can receive after being in the woods around so much of Mother Nature . There are trails that you can walk along and enjoy the sounds and sights of the woods. There is a small waterfalls that you can listen to the stream and the sound of the waterfalls. If you would like to go off property there . We are only 10 minutes from the The capital District. There is also a Funplex near by that has go cart races ,putt putt golf and many other activities . On that same piece of property they there’s an ice cream stand called Lickety Split there is also a barbecue stand in that location as well . Sunset Retreat

This spot is right off the road, super accessible. Bit of an uphill right from the entrance but site is right off to the right with a nice view of the tree line and sunset. Overall very easy stay and being right off the road was not a problem for me! Beautiful spot and would definitely stay again!

Site was great with a beautiful view! Road could be slightly noisy at time and the train noise can be frequent but overall it was a great experience.

Woodsy spot #5

I really enjoyed my stay here! Suzy met me at the top of her property and showed me exactly where the site was. She was incredibly sweet! The spot itself was perfect for a quiet night in nature with a campfire. It was only about 10 minute from downtown Albany but feels like you are miles and miles away! I will definitely be booking a stay here again :)

Woodsy spot #5

This was our 2nd long weekend at Suzy’s. Both times on site #5. Wonderful shady spot, level, huge picnic table and very remote/private.. Property has tons of birds, we heard some coyotes in July, and made a friend with a frog this time round! Easy to get to, everything nearby including Aldis. Stop in and grab lunch at Hot Dog Charlie’s. <Chefs Kiss>, AND you’re literally 10 mins to downtown Albany.

Someplace Else Camping

Suzy is a kind and welcoming host. She has a couple of awesome camping spots no matter how you're camping whether you're in a tent, RV, or campervan. There are a few campsites set up for groups as well. Even if there are other campers, all the spots are quite secluded and you're surrounded by hickory, acorn, pine and other trees. There's so much biodiversity - an ideal camping getaway! Every campsite is quite large and comes with a picnic table, fire pit and ample firewood. I'd stay here again the next time I'm in the area 🤗
