Blue Feather Creek Farm in North Carolina

Host Jonathan Houser says:

Once a small homestead with remnants of the old farm house still visible today, Blue Feather Creek Farm is now a small diversified farm that grows vegetables, raises chickens, turkeys, and sheep. We pride ourselves on never using chemicals on our crops, and raising our livestock in the most humane and respectable way possible. We would like to give campers the opportunity to come enjoy our small farm, while experiencing the outdoors, and wildlife. Campers will be able to interact with livestock, and harvest food from our garden (depending on the season), enjoy fresh eggs, and a fresh chicken roasted over your campfire. The main campsite is secluded from the rest of the farm so the best of both worlds can be had on our property. But with 30 acres at your disposal your campsite can be almost anywhere you choose. Come visit our farm, hike, camp, bike, and with the New River only a short drive away you can also fish, canoe, kayak, or tub.
