Shangri-la Quileute Camping
Beautiful riverfront tent sites
Beautiful tent sites right on the riverfront in an alder grove. We woke to elk crossing the river one morning and saw/heard many birds. Only a 10 minute drive to Rialto Beach, too. Campsites are relatively close to one another but everyone was respectful and quiet. No concrete, just grass and trees around the campsites and a gravel road in, which increased the experience of being close to nature. Kelsey is welcoming and friendly. I laughed a lot talking to him. He loves his property and is a good host. I was happy I could bring my dog and appreciated that all dogs there were on leashes, too. I would recommend more toilets and a system for wastewater from cleaning dishes, etc.

Peaceful camping by the river
Great view of the Quileute river from the campsite. Very well taken care of grounds with nice shade and flat ground for setting up camp. The river bed is large and the site feels very secluded from other residences. It was really quiet and calm. The owner was very nice, personable, and friendly. Site felt very safe. At dusk we watched bats fly around which was awesome. We saw a bald eagle fly over the Quileute river as well. Overall, we had a great time.

Beautiful Riverside Camping!
We loved tent camping on Kelsey’s property! It had access and views of the beautiful river! We loved how spread out the camp sites were. Kelsey was awesome and moved a picnic table with his tractor close to the spot we wanted to camp. We would definitely camp here again.

Phenomenal riverside camping!
Our group loved camping on Kelsey's land! Let me walk you through the highlights. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Kelsey who is super friendly and enthusiastic to share his space with us. The campsites are spacious and provide easy accommodations for our three vehicles. The river is located near by and boy was that a treat. You can see eagles and other birds easily from the river bank. The views are incredibly picturesque. In the early morning, a couple other neighboring campers saw a heard of elk cross the river. Unfortunately, we didn't see them, but we should heard them! Also, Kelsey's family came by with some of their smoked salmon which was unbelievably delicious! Highly recommend! Only piece of feedback is that the port-a-potty can sometimes run out of TP and the only potable water is this hose near the entrance which you have to let run a couple minutes before use. Overally, Kelsey's land is an A+ experience and I would suggest anyone to come check it out!
