Wow, what a magical little Maine site! It rained while I was here, but that only made the fall colors pop even more. It is such a treat having lake access just steps away. I thoroughly enjoyed my night by the fire and exploring the Hallmark worthy towns on the way from Portland. Don't miss this spot or the gorgeous flower arrangements at the flower stand!

Kezar Lake Campsite
This was a beautiful place to camp and everything was so thoughtfully laid out - the hammock, the fire pit and chairs were just what we needed. The lake is the true highlight of the site though with beautiful views and a peaceful place to sit and read.

Kezar Lake Campsite
Lara's site is private, and borders a young forest. We were very comfortable and especially enjoyed the quick walk to the 'town' beach. We were the only ones there and the water was a beautiful temperature, we swam a lot. there is a marina across the street from the campsite, but the hours of business didn't bother us.

The grove of pines was wonderful. It was a perfect place to pitch our tents. We enjoyed 2 days of canoeing on the lake and enjoyed Lara’s hospitality.

Easy to find; clean toilet; quick access down low-traffic road to a public swimming spot and dock. It is not right on the lake but right off a marina, which is fine. It’s a little noisy during the day, but quiets down in the evening. The ambient light was like a night light for the kids. If you want it to be darker, choose the deeper tent site in the woods. For August, I thought the lake water was surprisingly clean and clear. The provision of canoes is super nice - including a trolly for transportation. Bring your own life jackets. This was our first HipCamp experience, and we’d definitely do it again.

This site has some nice amenities for those looking to enjoy the lake, canoes are available, and there’s a restaurant and ice cream shop within walking distance. The site itself is easy to pull into with a camper van, and the fire pit area was nice (firewood available for purchase was convenient).
For our quick one-night stay, we were mainly hoping for peace and quiet, but the location is right off a road leading to a public boat ramp. There was frequent traffic with boats and trailers, plus an extremely loud bridge on the main road nearby. Every time a car crossed it, it made a jarring noise, and we heard it many times overnight, which woke us up repeatedly. Lights from the marina across the street also shone into the campsite, so restful sleep was hard to come by. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway like we were, this probably isn’t the best spot.
If your plans include taking advantage of the lake and other activities, this site could be a good fit.

Lara’s site was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed that there was plenty of space; we set our tent up in the woods (nothing worse than waking up in the morning baking in the sun). We were super thankful for all the amenities offered, such as the fire pit, chairs, canoes, out house, and the water tank. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful foliage, including blueberry bushes and wild strawberry plants. They were not kidding saying it takes less than 3 minutes to get to the lake, and the water couldn’t have been a better temperature. Ice is available right across the street and the general store was a quick 5 minute drive away if anything is needed. We will definitely be returning to this site in the future!

It was a lovely location, great amenities, like the canoes,, fire pit, chairs and table. Also, it’s great having the marina just a few steps away, where you can rent a boat, have an ice cream, a cocktail or a nice casual meal!

This was an excellent location! The proximity to the town beach was much appreciated on the hot, buggy days we were visiting. In addition to swimming, we took one of the canoes out on the lake for an evening paddle—highly recommended. Kezar Lake is beautiful!
The site had tons of space, it would definitely be a great spot for a multi-tent group. Outhouse was very clean and much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The pine cove is the perfect nook to set up the tent and wake to the sounds of songbirds. We hiked Blueberry Mountain about 30 min drive north and it was amazing. Canoeing on Kezar lake is so beautiful and totally worth it. Lara is a great host!

We had a wonderful time on Lara’s land! The fire pit, fire wood, tea lights, chairs and lots of ideal places to set up a tent - as well as the adorable and tidy outhouse - all contributed to a great stay. We will definitely be back, and next will take advantage of the canoes Lara generously lets guests use.

Kezar Lake Campsite
We had a lovely time camping here. Everything was as advertised. The bamboo gate provides additional privacy from the road. We took a canoe out on the lake and landed on a beach for lunch.
It's a great tenting spot that captures some of the feeling of a remote camping site with the convenience of being able to drive to a grocery store or check out local attractions (North Conway, the Kancamagus)
Also: Cleanest outhouse I've ever seen.
