They were incredible hosts with a skill for making you feel comfortable off the bat. Disappointed we didn't get to converse more. The property was very clean and organized, and camping by the creek was nourishing. The road to get there is a bit out of the way, but once you are out there, you do not want to leave. 10/10!

My partner and I had been looking forward to this camping trip for weeks and desperately needed what this camp site claimed to offer; a private, quiet sanctuary. The host gave great directions and was kind through messages.
On camping day we made the long drive to the hosts residence. Getting closer and closer to the property we noticed houses were in bad shape and possible hoarding occuring, but kept our spirits up that we would arrive at a beautiful sanctuary and feel peaceful.
We actually passed the property at first and needed to back up. The sign for Livingwell Sanctuary is so faded and old, that was the first indication things weren't quite right. After pulling in the driveway and parking at the designated spot, we noticed a large trash pile to the right of us (old gardening equipment and recycling I think?) We decided to get out of the car and then noticed ANOTHER giant trash pile on the other side of the driveway. My partner claims to have smelled the likes of rat feces and general hoarding stench, though I did not.
We never made it past the car. We were so uncomfortable and frustrated they called this a "sanctuary" when it feels like hoarder-level trash that we left within 2 minutes with the host running after the car. We did not see the camp sites, so I can't speak to their cleanliness.
The host needs to revamp and clean their property before allowing paying ($45/NIGHT) campers to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at LivingWell! The land is even more beautiful and magical than photos show, and Marygold and her husband made sure I had what I needed for a good stay. I enjoyed spending time by the river listening to birdsong, and even saw three otters swim by one morning. I look forward to coming back again to this special place!

If youre looking for somewhere to completely reset yourself body & soul, this is the place. Mary and her husband mark were truly some of the best people ive met in awhile. Its inspiring when you go, the work they've done around their property is AMAZING !! Plus they've dedicated themselves to many different spiritual healing practices, im very excited next time I come here to learn more from them. Many thanks to you two !!! Kyle, Matt, & I will remember this place for a very long time <3
Beautiful homestead property located inland from the Oregon coast. Property has creek access directly adjacent to camping spot, with both bank sides being able for use. Once camp was set up with tent, I was able to use the kitchen facilities to prepare proper meals. Plenty of counter space, and even a nice meal table for 4 was available in the semi outdoor and enclosed room. This saved the need for use of my own burners and such.
The property had plenty to explore, with a bridge to access the nature trails leading into the forest. The hosts were wonderful to meet. I was given a tour and I even received a wonderful yoga lesson during my stay. I enjoyed getting to know them both.
Overall, the LivingWell campsite was a wonderful experience, and was quite happy with having nicer kitchen amenities. There is quite a bit to discover here.
Marygold and Mark's land was so magical and peaceful to stay on. From the creek to the array of beautiful plants to the alters set up all around the property it felt like a little slice of eden. We thoroughly enjoyed being the only campers as it allowed for more privacy and ability to drop into the space. The kitchen and solar shower were awesome bonuses to level up the camping experience as well. We really appreciated the kindness and generosity from Mark and Marygold who shared their garden produce and medicinal herbs with us and lovely chatting. We will definitely be back and encourage anyone who wants to experience the serenity and creativity of off grid living to book this place!

Very beautiful views. The hosts were very friendly
And the directions they gave were clear and easy to follow. The easy access to the creek was very nice. The communal kitchen was super nice to use
And the campsite was clean and comfy.
I will be coming back in the future.
We had an amazing time at Marygold’s! She was so welcoming from start to finish. This is seriously a hidden gem spot. We loved our quiet, private campsite on along the creek. There was plenty of space tents and the camp spot included a table and chairs around a fire ring nearby a swinging bridge. The outdoor kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and the solar shower was amazing (and warm by midday!). The property was so calm and quiet!
Only thing to note is you really need to follow directions to approach the house from Deadwood by hwy 36- hwy 34 via Google maps took us to a downed tree/dead end. And note there is no cell service on the property, but that’s part of the magic! We’ll be back!
