Arlington is beautiful! The site is well laid out and there was a wagon on site that we used to help bring our things to site 6. It’s early in the season so there was no one else camping there but there’s enough space between the sites that everyone has their own privacy. Will definitely go again once it’s warmer and swim in the creek!

My parter, dog, and I had a wonderful time at the micro cabin! There was a good amount of snow on the ground and the cabin is not insulated, but we were able to keep plenty warm and dry using the wood stove. The gas lamp was surprisingly bright, and the gas stovetop also worked great. The bed was super comfortable, also. Steve was a very responsive host and also respected our privacy. The owner’s house can be seen from the cabin, but the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. I feel like this cabin may be more popular in the warmer months, but it’s also sooo charming in the snow.

Site 6 was great for my partner, our dog, and me. The site closest to us was empty so camping felt very private and secluded. The campsite was very easy to find, though we did initially pass up site 6 because the sign was knocked down. Would recommend for a peaceful night with a beautiful view and close to several great trails!

We adored our stay at this sweet cabin! It was private, restful, and nestled in the woods with a beautiful view of the sky. There was a rainstorm one night and we were cozy and snug in bed while the rain beat on the roof. What a restorative, wonderful space full of thoughtful amenities!

Very clean and well maintained site. Spots were somewhat close thogether, but had zero issues with anyone even though it was full. Host was very kind. Would highly recommend!

Three of us and my two dogs had such a wonderful weekend at Steve’s property! We were there for Labor Day weekend so it looked like all of the site were filled up, but all of our neighbors were respectful and kept to the 10pm quiet hours rule. The site DID fit three 2-person tents! I thankfully had a very thick sleeping pad so I was able to sleep in one spot that has a root sticking up a bit, and my other two friends said their spots were perfect. With three tents it was a little tight but cozy. The site has a metal fire pit and a grate was provided which was soooo convenient and appreciated! The porta potty was clean as other reviewers said, and though we were the closest site to it we didn’t hear or smell anything - even with the facilities being used frequently. If you’re looking to truly feel “alone” out in the woods this might not be the spot you’re looking for since the sites are close to each other, but if you’re looking for a great car location that is accessible and near tons of great trails and has GREAT star gazing (just walk out to the road) then this place is a wonderful choice!

We had a great time tent camping in spot #7, beautiful scenery, quiet, plenty to do in the nearby area! The trees create a nice weather cover from the sun and rain. The campsite has service, a picnic table, and fire pit with a grill for cooking. We walked down to the river and spent a few hours hanging out.

This was our second time camping here and we had a blast, it’s a nice cozy area that feels like true camping without being in the middle of nowhere! Steve is always so kind and the location is beautiful! Will definitely be making this spot a tradition!

We had a wonderful stay on Steve's land - a great little campground with private and very well maintained sites, exceptionally clean port-a-potty, and Steve came by to check if we had everything we needed and welcome us. The site is very close to a number of absolutely amazing hikes. We loved our stay and hope to come stay again!

Steve's camping area is magical - especially the walk in sites. Each site is secluded from the others - he did a fantastic job of carving little hidden paths to each one so you feel almost as if you are alone in the forest, even though the sites are really not far away from each other. Also the most pleasant Port-a Potty I have ever experienced :)..

We had a great camping experience on Steve’s land! From having a wagon to help with moving in, to the set up of the campsite, everything seemed well thought out and made it easy to settle in! We loved walking to the river too!

The campsite was beautifully surrounded by moss-covered trees and secluded from other sites. There was a metal firepit and small picnic bench but it was also helpful that we had brought a folding table to have extra surface area.
The creek nearby was dry so the nearest swimming hole was about a mile away. At the swimming hole, there was no beach unless you swam to the other side and the climb down was difficult for some people in our group so we didn't get in but it was still a nice walk.
Major perk of this location is that it feels woodsy and camp-like while only being 1-1.5 hours outside of the city and easier to book than public campsites.

The tree coverage was nice to provide some shade and lovely nature. There’s a cute little path that makes it a bit secluded (though you can still hear the other camp sites). There was a clean bathroom near by and parking was easy. Going on a walk in the surrounding area was sweet, and we went on a beautiful hike and river adventure near by. Steve was kind and accommodating. Thank you!

We absolutely loved camping at Camp Keyser!! The effort and attention poured into this campsite was so lovely to see. There was a campfire area at each section, along with wooden picnic tables. We started a nice fire and sat at the table to eat our dinner. While we were eating, we heard some birds chirping and an owl hooting. It felt like the perfect cozy night immersed in the sounds of nature. Also, the port-a-potty was the most clean one we have ever encountered! (It actually smelled clean!!) This was a lovely campsite and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!!

Site 2 was perfect. Steve let me use the back in gate to get in and out, as opposed to the main gate, to make access super easy. On top of that, the amenities were on point, lists of places to go to in town were helpful, and the camp grounds are absolutely beautiful. Would definitely visit again!

The camp site felt cramped and sure 6 was far too near the portapotty for our taste. We ended up scrapping the whole thing and camping down the road at Squire Creek which had beautiful sites.

Steve's spot was well maintained, quiet, and scenic. The sites were just a bit smaller than we expected from the photos, but we were able to fit 3 tents into the space for our group of 4. There was a fire ring and picnic table provided, in condition, which was a bonus. The porta-pottie provided near the parking area was probably the cleanest I've ever seen! I think we were lucky not all the sites were booked as it might have been a little noisy if we had neighbors on all sides. We really appreciated the info posted at the parking area as well, and walked down to the river via Whitehorse trail. There were beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the adjacent road and we really felt like we had the place to ourselves! Lastly, this hipcamp is very convenient to Darrington and surrounding areas, directions were easy to follow to find the camp. We met Steve towards the beginning of our stay and appreciated the friendly welcome!!
