Within a 60-minute drive from the North Cascades National Park Wilderness Information Center.

Our 7 acre property is located between the Stilliguamish River and the Whitehorse trail. It's a mostly forested property with trails through the woods. The central clearing contains our large vegetable garden and our home. We provide a 10x12 furnished wall tent with electricity, lights and an electric kettle, and an outdoor cooking area with potable water a stove and a few pots. There is also a propane firepit. The toilet is an outhouse. The tent is surrounded by trees, thus very private, despite this being a residential area. Near the tent there is a bench overlooking the river and a steep trail to the rocky bank. On your roughly 3 acre part of the property there are trails to stroll through our woods. These will lead to the Whitehorse trail. Turn left 1 mile to Squire Creek and right 1 mile to the old Fortson mill ponds. There are two bicycles available for your use. The Whitehorse Trail is a rail trail suitable for bicycling. You can be in Darrington on a bicycle in about 40 minutes or ride the other direction to Oso in about an hour. In Darrington there is a mountain bike park on North Mountain, a coffee shop and a brewery. Come enjoy nature at it's finest at our lovely campsite!We offer a furnished wall tent with electricity, running water for cooking, an outdoor shower with hot water, a two burner Coleman stove with a few pots, and a tidy pit toilet. There is a riverside bench for lounging, and trails to stroll through our woods. The tent is surrounded by trees, thus very private. We'll respect your privacy by texting rather than wandering over uninvited. These trails can lead you to the Whitehorse Trail, a rail trail suitable for bicycling. You can be in Darrington on a bicycle in about 40 minutes or ride the other direction to Oso in about an hour. In Darrington there is a mountain bike park on North Mountain, a coffee shop and a brewery. This is a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of birdsong, and stars on clear nights. It's very quiet at night though sometimes during the day or evening our neighbors across the river can be noisy. About a mile down the Whitehorse Trail you'll come to Squire Creek, our preferred swimming hole. We live on the property, so certain areas we reserve in order to have our own space, though we delight in meeting folks. Just let us invite you before wandering into our garden. There is also a propane fire pit to enjoy (and to reduce fire danger), and there is electricity and lighting in the wall tent.

Off leash. 1 dog maximum. DO NOT PUT YOUR DOG IN THE BED. We are strict on this point. Bring a dog bed. If we find that you've used our bed as a dog bed you'll get a bad review from us.

Tap, hose. Water comes from our well. To get to your site it travels through an RV potable water hose. Let the water run a little for cool, fresh water. There is also a Britta filter if you want to use it.

Hot water . There is an easy to use shower with water heated by a propane water heater.

Riverside Glamping

This place was truly a paradise—far beyond anything I expected. The fire pit, outdoor shower, and even the outhouse were incredibly enchanting and thoughtfully designed. I never thought I would describe an outhouse as impressive, but it smelled of fresh cedar and was spotless! The property overlooks a crystal-clear river, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, making it easy to relax and unwind. The icing on the cake was the awe-inspiring garden. We enjoyed some of the Swiss Chard grown on-site, and it was absolutely perfect. Rosalie was exceptionally responsive, communicative, and generous throughout our stay. She even created a beautiful floral arrangement for us to enjoy. Everywhere we looked, we noticed thoughtful touches that reflected the care and attention put into every detail of the experience. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will absolutely be returning.
