We had a great time! The property and surroundings are beautiful. The tent helped us camp without really camping much. We will definitely will come back again.

Great glamping experience very close to North Cascade's. Super cozy and comfortable. I would like to preface that the host doesn’t provide any bedding; blankets, comforters, or pillows. Otherwise a beautiful stay with a great view of the mountains. Thank you!

We loved this place! The farm is beautiful and peaceful, and the camp is super comfortable. The glamping tent is amazing - a comfortable double bed with some additional furniture, electricity, and even a space heater making this perfect for those shoulder season trips to the North Cascades. The area was big - plenty of room to set up a few extra tents, or let kids run around and play games. Will definitely be back.

Great spot to spend the night close to the North Cascades. Check in/out was incredible easy and didn’t require any interaction as we arrived late and left early. My body was happy to sleep on a mattress between days of big hikes. Will likely stay a night here again next time I hit the north cascades.

My family had so much fun staying at Black Walnut tent.. The tent is beautifully set up and has a gorgeous view of Sauk Mtn. In a Serene setting.
The Owner was gracious host. And even introduce us to Goumi berries and shared some vegetables from his garden.

We loved tent camping on Will's land! What a little paradise on earth! The views are absolutely stunning, the safari tent is fun and spacious, the pit toilet is clean and not smelly [with the coolest views]. We loved the extra touch of wildflowers, gumi-berries and the super kind hosts! Proximity to local natural beauties and town is perfect too. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at the Black Walnut Glamping Tent! Will’s beautiful farm was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. It’s also a great location if you’re looking to stay near North Cascades National Park. We even saw elk roaming the property! Will was a gracious host—he welcomed us warmly and invited us to try some of the fresh fruit he was growing. We'd definitely love to stay here again!

I camped for one night in the yurt at Will's farm. It was really wonderful and peaceful! The yurt was spacious and super comfortable, with a fresh water spigot and a picnic table nearby. The views of the meadow and barn, not to mention Sauk Mountain in the distance, were just lovely. It was the perfect place to spend a restful night before heading out into the North Cascades for the weekend! Thanks so much!

Everything was as described. Awesome view of the mountains and dark sky at night for star gazing. Location was perfect for exploring North Cascades National Park.

Our first "Glamping" experience and it was so great! A big step up from tent/car camping!! Will greeted us upon arrival and offered some great tips on hikes and where to eat. Used this as "base camp" as we explored North Cascades National Park and it was lovely. We plan on returning!

Firstly it’s a gorgeous idyllic location. We arrived at 9:30 and there was no one to meet us or tell us where the tent was. Another person who was staying there pointed it out to us and also was kind enough to show us where the out house was. I didn’t read the whole listing and arrived without bedding. Needless to say we were very cold. The instructions in the tent noted that there was a space heater but there wasn’t.
I had booked this location for another stay about a month ago but they contacted me a couple weeks prior and canceled my visit bc they had forgotten about a family event that they needed the accommodation for. So while it’s a beautiful location, I’m not sure if I could recommend staying there.

Beautiful surroundings with Sauk Mountain views as you walk out of the tent. The tent was spacious and comfortable with plenty of table/bench space and comfy chairs. It was nice walking the grounds of the farm and seeing fruit on the trees. Super close to tons of outdoor activities. We recommend a whitewater rafting trip on the Skagit River with Alpine Wilderness Guides. Will was welcoming and brought some fresh peaches, but otherwise gave us our privacy which is appreciated. I'd definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed the one night I spent here. The tent is massive and has plenty of space for storage and lounging around, the deck/porch is great to sit out on and enjoy the sunset with views of Sauk Mountain. It's secluded enough to feel private and to have plenty of space, but still in a good location to act as a base camp for hikes and other activities in the area. Highly likely I'll stay here again on another hike-centric trip.

What a pretty experience! The farm is absolutely gorgeous and we loved walking around and looking at everything they have. There were some bug problems at night but we carried a bug lamp and that helped. It’s very close to some eating places which was great since we didn’t have to figure out food during our weekend trip.

Will’s glamping tent was everything we needed! It’s tucked away in the corner of his property and it felt so private and comfortable. The property was beautiful with great views. The tent itself was extremely cozy and we had a great night's rest after being out hiking all day! Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Overall the place was... ok. It had a GFCIed 15A duplex receptacle with extension cords for the lights and the space heater. The tent could have been cleaned better - there were a lot of spider webs and the one sheet wasn't in great shape. It got cold at night, and the space heater didn't keep up. Water and the pit toilet were available, and if I were there longer than just the overnight I was there, I'm sure the property would have been neat to explore, but for a place just to sleep, I don't know if it was quite worth the rate.

Will was an amazing host! Brought over some fresh fruit from his farm. The tent was so comfortable and the area was beautiful and private. It was the perfect place to watch the meteor shower
