(Dispersed site)
Dragonfly Hill is a charming and welcoming place to camp. Andy greeted us upon arrival. He's so nice and such a gracious host. After a nice tour we were provided an opportunity to choose our site. There are multiple areas for tent camping, trailers/smaller RVs, or if you'd prefer why not sleep in an enclosed gypsy wagon, or tryout an adorable teardrop trailer to rest your head?
A great place for experienced campers to relax and camp the way that you want to. We enjoyed cooking outside of our little trailer. I was struck by how perfect Dragonfly Hill is a for novice campers to get a feel for what camping can be. Bring your tent (or enjoy the wagon or teardrop), but no need for much else. There is an outdoor kitchen where folks can cook out, a microwave, a refrigerator, as well as utensils, plates, etc.... Literally, all you need to do is bring your food. Easy-peezie!!!
The grounds are detailed with lots of artistic and nuanced touches including comfortable outdoor seating areas and fire pits by each campsite, as well as a variety of gardens. I really enjoyed the spiraling rock garden path, underneath a beautiful tree, surrounded by a delightful lavender colored wooden fence.
Bring your shower shoes, because you'll want to enjoy the fully enclosed and secluded outdoor shower (it's heated).
While we didn't have time to sit by the lovely pool on this trip, it is definitely on our to-do list the next time we stay at Dragonfly.
We definitely look forward to returning!

in Greenhorn Reservoir and Wildlife, CaliforniaSimple site with a nice overlook of the reservoir. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The location is quiet at night and just outside of town for easy access to whatever you need

Past trip
in Heather lane stables, OregonWonderful rustic farm and hosts
great site and campground host. they were very accommodating with our reactive pit bull (they have dogs and a neighbor's goat on the property) and allowed us to park near their entrance so our dog wouldn't bark all night. overall this was a wonderful quick stay
Past trip
in A Farmers Paradise, CaliforniaGreat private and remote site delta near stockton. There is another long-term tenant on the property but he is very chill and private. Overall it's pretty remote to get here but it was a nice place to camp a night on the way home from Mendocino and the Lost Coast

Past trip
in Jug Handle Creek Farm, Californiathe site wasn't as advertised not what I would consider private at all. there was also not really an easy way to park a 15-foot camper on the site. you would have better luck boondocking 11 miles north of town on any of the free pullouts along the 101. overall you basically have room for a car and a tent that is across the road from another site
Past trip
in The Olive Farm, Californiagreat site. easy access. wonderful place north of San Francisco for a quick night's rest on our way up north to the Lost Coast

Rustic Old Hunt Club
in Rustic Hideaway, CaliforniaGreat group camping site!
Great camping site for camping newbies. private ranch hub at a pistachio farm. The hosts live adjacent and are very helpful. this place has everything you need to have a great camping weekend. both men's and women's bathrooms, (with shower), mood lighting in the trees, covered eating area, lots of table and places to hang. 3 fire pits and a huge pit bbq stove in the middle where you could easily cook a meal for 50. overall this is a great place for a huge group trip. also a shooting range up the hill and nice hiking and views of the area

in Dead End Campgrounds RV Sites, CaliforniaGreat view and site up in the hills
great view and site up in the hills with access to electricity, water, and a restroom. the only drawback there really isn't much shade and it could be a bit of a challenge for some 2wd car or large RV's and trailers to get there.
