29 ft travel trailer · With kids · Amazingly beautiful location. The pictures really do not do it justice. You are high on a small plateau overlooking the rolling hills surrounding you. Cows grazing nearby, deer, bunnies, birds, horses. The sounds, the sunsets, the views....it is spectacular. For these reasons, I would recommend.
A few things to just be mindful of from the perspective of a 29 ft. travel trailer. For small trailers or a van, this might not be as big of a deal:
The property is about a 25-30 minute drive to the main town area through windy rural roads. Beautiful, but for us a deterrent to having dinner in town.
We have Verizon and had service once at the property.
The driveway up to the property is incredibly steep. Make sure your tow vehicle has enough power to get you and your rig up the hill and don't forget you have to get down again.
The actual spot is decently level, but once you come up the driveway, getting to the site is steep and bumpy.
Leaving can be difficult. For a smaller rig, you could probably use a path/turn connected to the main driveway to exit. For a larger rig like ours, it was too tight of a turn, so we were forced to turn around on the steep uneven incline of the hill below the site. Almost like we were off-roading with our trailer. You need to know your trailer and tow vehicle well (luckily we do), otherwise, it looked like a tipping hazard to us.....
