Lori’s property was beautiful and private. My family enjoyed our stay very much. We were able to camp with our small (19 ft) trailer, however, please listen to Lori’s warnings! It was a very tight squeeze and difficult to navigate the unimproved section of the road without 4WD. The site offers gorgeous views of nature and a short, private trail to go up or down the mountain and view nature. We had plenty of space to spread out and the site is incredibly private. Our only visitors were the deer and wild turkeys. There is a lot of poison oak, as the site is nestled under beautiful, old oaks. Lori has done a great job clearing it from all the site areas and on the trails, but be prepared to keep little ones and pets close to avoid it. The site is an easy drive to great hiking and mountain biking, beaches, and lots to do. We found it perfect for getting away from everything and just relaxing!

I used site 3 and it was wonderful and secluded. The forest surrounding was beautiful and if into scary stories around a camp fire, also give a semblance of creepiness at night.
Lots of poison oak. But the main area is cleared fairly well. They have a built in gas pit but I did not use. The area has a couple trails I saw going in but did not go on them.
Speaking of going in, this is in the back of someone's property, the roads are bumpy and unpaved. There is a steep hill that is paved but the rest is unpaved once you get to the hosts property. Some cars may have issues traversing this.
One surprise was the wild turkeys and filed through are camp. It was cool and they left us alone. In case you are bringing pets, you may want to mindful of this.
Wagmore is an awesome experience and well worth the money. If you don't want to battle the state camps near Morrow Bay I highly recommend using this camp instead. It is close enough to Morrow Bay as it take roughly 20 minutes or less to get there.
Lori is a kind host and makes it stressful time of finding camps with no stress at all. The bonus is, not being a state camp, you can pack, and leave the site without too much worry someone will mess with your stuff.

The tent pad fits a 5 person tent :)

Me and my friend loved this campsite! It was so closed off and private, we couldn’t even tell where we were among the area. It was so beautiful and there was a great fire pit as well. The host and staff were all very helpful, considerate, and responsive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet spot for low cost as well! It should be more expensive for how awesome it is! Thanks lori ❤️

If you’re looking for a large quiet campsite with privacy with close proximity to awesome beaches and anything else you may need this is your spot. It feels a lot more remote than it is, it’s a pretty quick drive to the beach and the dirt road is in good shape.
The biggest downside to this campsite is the poison oak! I am very familiar with poison oak and it was EVERYWHERE surrounding the campsite. Our dogs were kept on shorter leashes the entire time we were at our site because of it and even just walking around without the dogs I often found it popping up everywhere.
The makeshift toilet served its purpose. I was surprised to see the precious guests waste disposal still in the toilets waste and the trash but it all worked out.

We highly recommend this site! Our host was extremely accommodating and always got back to us promptly with arrangements for our trip.
The site itself is very peaceful with lots of trails, animals, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The oak tees surrounding the site make it feel comfortably enclosed. We enjoyed our time so much that we are returning again soon and hope to visit more in the future. A gem of a place!

This was our third time staying at WagMore, and we can't wait to come back! Site #3 has so much room and trails to explore, not to mention it feels completely private. It's also a quick drive to Morro Bay from the campsite to explore and swim in the ocean! We love this site, thank you to Lori for being such a great host.

Sarah was great about keeping in touch and helping us to find our camping spot when we were a little unsure. The site has a large leveled area for a tent, large fire pit that my stove fit in to shield it from the wind, and ample space for parking. It was right next to a gorgeous oak-lined trail. The campsite had an incredible 360-view, with a rocky peak and the SLO rolling hills visible. It was so green! We felt very secluded, and didn’t see or hear anyone from the surrounding campsites. Would 1000% recommend!

This is an outstanding location and everything about the stay was magical. Amazing well maintained trails clean environment and the and I vastness to the area that made it feel more like a State Park that you have to yourself, We saw more wildlife than people.

First off: lori’s directions are great and check in is easy. She is very responsive. My site was more private than I expected. Site 3 is one I’ll return to. It’s huge. There’s a private trail behind the site that takes you high above the property and takes you to other trails. I mean, I can’t say enough. The waste area, toilet, tent platform and fire pit were exceptional. I put up a hammock and enjoy the breeze and turkey sounds. I wish I had booked a longer stay. Next time I will. Definitely returning.

Really unique spot that was quiet and had a great view. We stayed towards the top of a dirt road that was narrow and rutted in places but our sprinter had no problem. We woke up to a couple of wild turkeys gobbling outside in the morning after sunrise.

WagMore is such a beautiful place. This was our second time at site 3 and it remains one of our favorite campsites ever. The Oak Grove is so gorgeous. The views are lovely. The amenities are so well thought out. There are well maintained hiking trails to explore the property. You are camping of course, so be prepared for hot, cold, wind, bugs, poison oak, animals and noises. You may get none of those things, you may get them all, but you could not be in a more lovely spot to figure it out.
