We had a great stay at this camping spot by Bear Lake! We found the directions very easy to follow (use Chris' directions and not your GPS) and it led us to a beautiful, quiet meadow. We set up camp and appreciated having access to a rustic bathroom and non-potable water. There was a trail leading from our site to the bathroom that was lined with solar-powered pathway lights. Each site had a fire pit and picnic table. Due to fire season, we did not start a fire, but there was available firewood and I'm sure it would have been lovely! This spot was perfect for us as a little stop from the west coast out to Yellowstone National Park.

"In The Woods" Camping Cabin

Wow! This is one of the most magical spaces. They have a safari tent, tipi, and multiple comfortable camping sites. The property is immaculate. Not a blade of grass out of place on their incredible property! We were greeted by our hosts upon arrival and given a tour of their serene property. They have several peaceful trails that they hope you explore and enjoy - one even ending in a labyrinth! We stayed in the safari tent which was incredibly comfortable. Each end of the tent was open to the breeze (with a screen) which made it cool during our June stay. One of my favorite features was the 'Central Supply' which was a shed that included fire pits, lawn games, water, and other amenities for you to enjoy. I think this is the perfect space to spend a few days and especially with a group! They are also open to hosting weddings and events which I feel would have the perfect camping/outdoor vibe.

(Dispersed site)
This spot is an incredible, well manicured camping location surrounded by the Black Hills National forest and is very close to Mount Rushmore! The campsite area is well maintained with multiple options on where to setup your tent. We chose to set ours up under some beautiful trees for some more privacy. The location also has RV hookups, a bathroom, shower area, and coffee/tea available in the morning. The host drove us up to some additional property of theirs where we got to visit with some beautiful horses. My only note for campers is they have you sign additional release forms upon arrival - something I would recommend that they update in their listing! Overall it was a good experience.

Urban Ranch's "Airstream of Dreams"
in Airstream of Dreams, ColoradoThe Airstream and property are incredibly beautiful! The Airstream overlooks a private, giant pond which is just a short walk from the incredible Colorado River. The property is immaculate and if you're lucky you will spot bullfrogs, turtles, and maybe even a river otter. Clay, the host, is incredibly friendly and gave us a tour and provided maps of the area and gave advice on where to explore. The property is in a location near to town and all its conveniences! The interior of the Airstream is spotless and comfortable. We've always wanted to stay in an Airstream and it did not disappoint! This is a place I would highly recommend staying - especially if you have time to stay a few days!
Singing Nail Cabin
in Santa Fe Treehouse Camp, New MexicoWhat amazing views!! The property borders public land and you wake up to views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. The cabin is rustic, but comfortable. The furniture and linens are dated, but it's perfectly clean and comfortable. We loved our stay! The bathroom/shower building is a little bit of a trek from the cabin, but includes and toilet and multiple shower stalls (separate areas for men and women). Outside the bathroom cabin is a hot tub available for use. There also is a communal kitchen/dining building to share with other campers. The location also has multiple tree houses, communal spaces, and more on the property. The property originated as a kid's summer camp and they are revamping it to include more campers. The location is also incredibly convenient and not a far drive to Santa Fe! Bansi, our host, was incredibly helpful and offered advice with what to do with our short time in the city (we visited the art installation, Meow Wolf!). Overall, we had a great experience and will stay again when visiting the Santa Fe area!
Luxury Eco Yurt at The Cedars Ranch
in The Cedars Ranch, TexasI would pack my bags tomorrow and go LIVE in this yurt! Our stay at the Cedars Ranch was incredible. The hosts are incredibly kind and gave us a tour of their property which is currently in development to add a wellness center and wedding/event venue. The yurt is 'glamping' at its finest! There is a full kitchen, laundry, slipper tub, library, tv, and a giant cozy bed. The yurt is bright and wonderfully decorated. There also is a beautiful deck with hammocks, patio furniture, hummingbird feeders, and more. I would highly recommend staying here - especially several nights!
ArtV at Casa Luna Llena
in ArtV @ Casa Luna Llena, TexasWe loved our stay at this artsy, funky property! There is so much attention to detail throughout the trailer and the land. The trailer was comfortable for our stay. AC kept the trailer cool in a Texas summer and there was a bathroom, kitchen, tv, wifi, and more available for use. Spend some time walking around the trailer to view all of the incredible art! My favorite painting was of Frida. There are loose dogs and cats on the property, but they were all very friendly and I loved visiting with them. This is a place I would definitely stay again!
Holler Homestead Woodsy Retreat
in Holler Homestead Woodsy Retreat, TennesseeI loved visiting Nicole's campsites! It is tucked away in the Tennessee woods and is a beautiful, woodsy property. Nicole greeted me when I arrived and took me on a tour. The campsite areas are back in the woods and take an easy hike to get to. The sites are very private and peaceful. On the property there are friendly dogs, ducks, and goats! Nicole also is creating a hydroponic garden which was fascinating to take a look at. There is also a pit toilet available, but it's a little trek away from the campsites. If you are looking for a great camping spot in Tennessee I highly recommend Nicole's listing!
Luxury Tiny Beach Cabin
in Luxury Beach Cabin!, IndianaWhat an incredible tiny cabin! As we drove up to the listing we were on quiet, forested residential streets and we spotted deer everywhere! The cabin is #DecorGoals. It is beautifully decorated, cozy, and has air conditioning! The cabin is situated in the side yard of Courtney's home. Courtney greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick little tour of the property. There is a wood fired hot tub, outdoor shower, and a full bathroom inside the main house available for use. It truly beautiful, luxurious listing! I would highly recommend!!! My only note is that if you are on the tall side, the ceiling of the loft bed area might be a little low for you - we managed though - even with a 6'2" guest!
Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat
in Star Camp, WisconsinWhat a magical forest retreat! The cabin is absolutely incredible. It is situated back in the forest, among the ferns and quiet privacy. The directions took us right to the location and our hosts were waiting, happy and ready to greet us. They took us on a tour of their property and told us about the incredible construction that they have done on their property. The cabin was incredibly comfortable and an amazing place to stay! We would highly recommend it as a place to unplug, relax, and enjoy some peace & quiet.

Writer's Cabin @ Crazy Rooster Farm
in Cordwood Writer's Cabin, WisconsinWhat an incredible location! I wish we could have stayed for a week. We met Jeffrey at his farm and he gave us the tour (it's currently being used to grow herbs that are used for tea) and then he walked us over to the cabins which are on a private, adjacent lot. My husband and I have always been infatuated with DIY tiny homes and Jeffrey was happy to answer all of our questions about the cordwood cabins and the building process. We were definitely inspired! I would highly recommend a stay here and I'm itching to go back!
