I live local and this is one of the cutest little “get away” spots for a staycation! The cabin is very clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub and outdoor shower are soooo unique and definitely a highlight of the stay. High recommend!

This place was absolutely perfect for my solo trip! The hosts were BEYOND gracious and flexible with me, always making sure to keep me updated with details to make my trip the best. The cabin was so cute and cozy! And the bed was SO comfy! Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a really nice place for my wife and I to stay for a week. We wanted a quiet place to retreat over the holidays and this was great. The unseasonably nice weather made the hiking even better (check out Trail 9 and Cowles Bog). The fire pit and wood fired hot tub are very nice additions to the experience. The area was even quieter than expected, outside of a home under construction nearby. Courtney and Lora are great hosts who are very friendly and helpful.
For us, this was one more experience to get a feel for what tiny house living might be like. Our stay was winter time and we loved it, but I bet a summer stay would be even better for the beach and lake stuff you can also experience.

My stay here truly exceeded my expectations. Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed my time. The hosts were amazing, the property was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. I wanted a place to rest and get some work done and it was perfect. Can’t wait to come back in the summer and go to the beach!

The cabin is absolutely adorable. The mini fridge and microwave was very handy for left overs, and the king bed was a dream. If you are there during cooler months, the cedar hot tub is a must!! The only downside, especially when it’s cooler, is that you must go to the main house to use the bathroom, but it wasn’t a big deal. We will have to go back in the summer to enjoy the super close beach, bikes, and kayaks!

Loved my stay here! Used this trip as a solo weekend getaway. Courtney & Lora offer exceptional hospitality! I always got immediate responses from Courtney. The cabin was in pristine condition, indoor heat worked great. The location was great - easy access to the beach, hikes, & towns for meals. Courtney offers great recommendations on places to check out. And, the wood-fired hot tub is AH-mazing.

My husband and I couldn’t of had a better experience at this tiny house. The hosts were kind and very helpful. The house was clean and it was easy to relax and unplug for a bit. (Although, there is WiFi.) The bed was crazy comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. We will definitely return!

My wife and I celebrated 17 years of marriage here and loved every minute. Our hosts were thorough and kind, and gave us all the privacy we needed despite living right next door. The tiny house is charming as can be and perfectly comfy. Everything was taken care of for us and information was clear and concise, and local recommendations were totally on point. Highlights are fire pit, outdoor fire-fueled hot tub, outdoor shower, and location location location. (We basked in all its glory during October temperatures.) Hosts are human/artist friendly and easy going. We hope to return every year!!!

The place was extremely well put together with the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit adding a nice touch. The hosts were extremely helpful in showing us around and giving us recommendations for places to visit close by. Would highly recommend this place.

I have to say, our host went above and beyond. Not only was the cabin in pristine condition, we were given first class treatment our entire stay - fom getting the hot tub started to helping us get a fire going after the rain soaked our firewood.

We couldn’t have had a more perfect stay!
The cabin is gorgeous and had everything we could need. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. We were coming from the city looking for a quieter weekend and we found just that. The beach is right there and also not at all crowded. Courtney had chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, and kayaks for us to use.
The hosts were very kind and happily answered all of our questions. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. The fire pit, outdoor shower, and soaking tub were incredible! The hosts even stayed home so they could stoke it for us.
We would absolutely love to stay here again!

The ladder up to the lofted bed is a little too steep and should have flat steps rather than rounded ones. It was too uncomfortable to go up and down with bare feet so we had to put on shoes. Also it got too hot at night up there. Nevertheless, we had a great time staying there And would do so again. But couldn’t take more than a night or two at a time sleeping in the loft bed.

Wonderful little cabin. Exactly what was needed for a weekend away. Courtney was a great host who provided towels, robes, heated the hottub, and gave great food recommendations. There were also more amentities than expected such as a grill, bicycles, an outdoor shower - just about the most exhilarating thing ever, and kayaks. It was quiet and peaceful and you would hardly know there was someone else on the property. It wasnt as secluded as I had expected, as it is in a neighborhood on the corner of two streets, but it honestly was perfect. No complaints. We will likely come back just to get away.

Our stay was amazing! Lora and Courtney were gracious hosts. Lora showed us around the property after we got settled in. Their dogs are so friendly and funny!
The cabin has everything you would need for a luxury, modern camping trip. There is a grill and fire pit. There is also a microwave, Keurig and mini fridge in the kitchen. We ate out at some of the local restaurants nearby (10-15 min. drive away) and were able to bring back our leftovers to reheat. We also explored some local wineries (10-20 min. drive away) in the area and brought back wine to enjoy during the nights. The outdoor shower is super cool, towels and robes were provided and of great quality. My husband is 6' 1" and he enjoyed the experience overall. He was able to stand in the kitchen without having to bend over, he struggled getting into the loft the first time but got the hang of it after that, so it works even if you are taller!
The property is a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is awesome. The people in the community were really nice. It rained on the second day of our stay but we really enjoyed it. We stayed in the cabin all day and relaxed, reading books, drinking wine, and watching movies on our tablet.

I loved it! Everything was wonderful, the space was adorable and cozy. It was great to be able to walk to the beach, and drive to restaurants. I'm a little afraid of "camping" this was enough to be in nature but access to all the amenities and comforts of home. (wifi, coffee, running water, etc). The blueberry farm was within walking distance. Picking blueberries was a highlight for sure! The outdoor shower was fab. I wish it didn't rain, I was looking forward to using the hot tub and making a campfire. No fault of anyone, of course. I hope to be back, for a longer stay next time : ) I imagine it would be so cozy and charming to retreat in the winter, too. Thank you for the hospitality and lovely accommodations. As someone who works adjacent to the hospitality industry, I was super impressed and grateful for these thoughtful and kind hosts!

Incredible space and awesome hosts who were very responsive and extremely nice. Came here for a weekend getaway (~1.5hr drive from Chicago) with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. The location is perfect (wooded lot with 5 minute walk to private beach and lots to explore nearby), the decor was on point, the amenities were great (bikes/kayaks/beach chairs/outdoor shower/wood-burning hot tub?!). We definitely will be coming back and had a fantastic first hipcamp experience. Thanks again!

Wonderful stay in such a beautiful location. Courtney was an excellent host and her tiny house is perfect. We enjoyed our afternoon on the beach, using her umbrella and beach chairs. After that, a refreshing outdoor shower. Then, as we sat outside under the stars, we watched the local mama deer and her babies walk through the yard. Such a delightful experience. Thank you!

This place was amazing! Take advantage of the short walk to the beach! Use the bikes to do some exploring also, and finish your evening in the hot tub! Right before using the outdoor shower before bed. The host were welcoming and kind! I’m definitely booking again!

Such a beautiful stay here! Checking in was easy, location was gorgeous, cabin was clean and air conditioned, the host already had loaded the hot tub with water for us! Felt private and cozy, I took a nap immediately when I got in. 5 minute walk to the beach, was able to cook a small dinner in the kitchen, slept very peacefully. Hopeful to go back in future years and new seasons to enjoy property and comfor!

I really can’t say enough about what an incredible experience we had at this tiny cabin. It was beautiful, comfortable, inviting, and it was clear that our hosts put a lot of caring and creativity into designing the space. The wow factor also extends beyond the cabin itself, with that amazing cedar hot tub, great outdoor shower and an awesome fire pit that we were able to cook a few meals over.
The surrounding community is also fantastic- it kind of feels like you’re in the Hamptons : ). Our hosts gave us really solid food recommendations in the neighborhood, and a really helpful binder in the cabin had all kinds of pointers for how to make the most of our stay.
Last but certainly not least, I’d like to give a huge shout out to our hosts Courtney and Lora. They were so responsive, kind and easy to work with, not to mention just plain cool women who have an inspiring vision for the kind of experience they want to offer. I am definitely looking forward to renting from them again.

Super cute tiny house close to the beach and Indiana Dunes National Park. Courtney and Laura were terrific hosts, and the house had everything we needed for our stay: coffee, fresh water, even Internet — glamping at its best. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and around the campfire one night, and sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning. The outdoor shower was fun, too.
Note that the lofted bed is exactly that — in a loft. It's a little challenging to get up and down the ladder, and there isn't a ton of head room, so be aware of that if you have mobility issues. But the bed itself is huge and really comfortable.

We had such a delightful stay at the tiny house! Lora was there to greet us and show us around. I thought it might be odd using the bathroom in their lower level, but it was not at all! We felt like we had privacy the entire time. The tiny house was so adorable and had all of the amenities. They even left me a note saying happy birthday with a bottle of champagne! I wish it was warmer so we could utilize the outdoor shower and beach more.
