Ciana and Brad is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
This is a non-smoking, no candle facility. The camp was founded 40 years ago as a summer camp for kids. Now we welcome adults, and other groups to enjoy the vast and wild high desert nature up on this ridge. There are beautiful views and access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy various level hiking trails including a 20 minute hike to a creek and waterfall in the forest (some steep spots and creek is intermittent) or climb up Shaggy Peak (seasoned hikers only please). NOTE: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy and rutted ( 4-wheel or All-trak recommended in certain times of year). We don’t guarantee the road will be plowed.

Treehouse Camp:Tent, Van Truck camp
Loved camping on Ciana and Brad’s land, very well maintained and they don’t pile you on top of your neighbors. Beautiful views and amazing night sky!

Tecolote 1 Treehouse
Thank you for an amazing stay!
Staying at Tecolate 1 was a little piece of bliss. We were absolutely amazed at how amazing this place was. Our site was unbelievably situated with views of the mountains and access to nearby trails. The camp was obviously well run with all the amenities you could need and friendly hosts and other campers. I didn’t know places like this still existed. My husband, 13 year old son and I enjoyed it equally. All I can say is “thank you!” Treehouse Wilderness Preserve.

Perfect quick getaway
Ciana and Brad were wonderful hosts. The amenities were clean, and it was great to have a shower after a beautiful hike. We didn't use the kitchen area but took a peek, it was well-stocked and would have been a nice clean place to cook a meal. This was the perfect, relaxing getaway we needed.

Pegasus 2- Hanging Cot Treehouse
My partner and I were traveling through New Mexico and wanted a camping experience that was also comfortable, we found this place and it was perfect! The hosts were wonderful and the campground was stocked with essentials for cooking and eating (coffee maker, stove, microwave, toaster oven, plates, cups, utensils) which was perfect because we had everything except a camp stove. The treehouse was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was even an outlet so I could charge my electronics! Super easy to find and so close to downtown Santa Fe. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Santa Fe!

Great overnight spot!
We just set up our small RV for one night but the landscape and views are great and the bath and shower facility was very clean! They have additional amenities like a communal kitchen but we did not use that facility. It was also nice to have a trail right at your doorstep that went into the Santa Fe National Forest.

Pegasus 1 Treehouse
We had a really nice time at the treehouse camp. The facilities were very well maintained. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short because of the weather but we would love to come back and explore the grounds more. My son loved the tether ball and horse shoes.
