We are located in the Santa Fe National Forest, on 6 acres right on the Pecos river and El Macho creek. You can fish right off the property and explore local hikes. The elevation is 7200 feet in a gorgeous setting surrounded by mountains. We have a pavilion and a huge outdoor kitchen for you to enjoy.

Enjoy the sounds of the Pecos River at Field Trip NM when you stay in this unique cabin. The fully remodeled 1950’s A-frame, has everything you could want. Indoors boasts a newly remodeled designer kitchen and bathroom. The open plan bedroom upstairs sleeps 4 between a Queen and 2 Twin Beds. Outdoor amenities include a Stainless Steel hot tub, an outdoor shower, 2 outdoor fireplaces and a 3 person hammock. Lounge on the large deck while making dinner on the brand new gas Grill. Stargaze like never before! The space The A-frame is situated on 8 private acres within the Santa Fe National Forest. The Pecos River is a 1 minute walk from the A-Frame. Other buildings on the property are with the owner’s main house and 3 other buildings (soon to be additional rental units). There is plenty of open space for kiddos to run, a plenitude of adirondack chairs nestled in the shade next to the river, and depending on the time of year lots of fish in the river. The A-Frame has an open steep staircase that could be difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility. This can also be an issue for guests with children and pets. We are in the process of fabricating a gate for the top of the stairs in the bedroom but we will leave it up to your discretion to keep your kiddos (human or furry) safe in the house. Parents know better than hosts as to what trouble their little ones can get into so we trust your judgement to make sure this is the right fit for your family. Guest access Full river access and access to the pavilion on the bottom of the property.

Family Safari Tent - 'Davis Creek'

My 2 boys, 9 & 11, and I stayed here for 3 nights and it far exceeded expectations. Comfy beds, amazing sound of river rushing nearby, clean communal restrooms and showers. The beds even have heated mattress covers if it gets a little chilly at night. Amazing experience and can’t wait to come back.

Porch House w/ Wood-fired Hot Tub

We loved The porch House! It was exactly as advertised and very relaxing. You can hear the calming river in the master bedroom. Marc and his crew made sure to tend to the wood-fired hot tub while we were away on our hike, do we were able to soak at night under the stars. Thank you!

River Cottage right on Pecos River

We loved our stay at Marc's cottage! The cottage was equipped with everything you needed and other things you didn't expect to need, but came in handy. Peaceful, quiet, and serene! Thank you for letting us and our furry friends stay!

Canvas Glamping Tent - 'El Macho'

Hands down one of my favorite places I've stayed. The tents are awesome. A luxurious way to camp. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable! They have everything you need to cook with and eat on. Literally, you just need your food and clothes. They take care of the rest. There's wood for fires, a sauna, a hot tub, showers, flushing toilets and most amazing the pecos River is 5 steps away! Packed with fish and great for swimming. Both Marc and Susan were wonderful hosts. I can't wait to come back.

Dreamy A-frame with Hot Tub

Wow. This spot blew our minds. There was no detail left unthought of. From the decorations to all the little essentials that made us feel right at home. Snacks, beverages, games, cozy slippers... the list is endless. The private deck fireplace was the most lovely spot to have coffee and we couldn't have asked for a better way to end the evening than with a little soak in the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable we had a hard time getting out of them! This may be a bit of a drive from Santa Fe but it's well worth it. Head up the canyon for lots of peaceful hiking options.

Dreamy A-frame with Hot Tub

Lovely Aframe home along the Pecos River, which you can hear from the loft bed with the window open. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks AND fixings for smores over the outdoor gas fire pit. The railing to the loft made it easy to access. Helpful host. Easy to find right off the main road. One negative is that there's no curtain in the bathroom (which faces the road), but could easily be remedied. And, IMO, as nice as it was, it was overpriced for a NM rental, which would, sadly, make a return stay unlikely.
