We loved our stay at Newell Lodge! We camped here on a Friday night in late October as we road-tripped from Savannah, GA to New Orleans, LA. The weather was perfect and we couldn't believe how quiet it was outside at night—absolutely still. (*Note: We were the only guests there that night. Arrived around 6pm and departed around 8am the next morning to continue driving.)

We posted up in our truck camper amongst the spanish moss close to the restroom building (Flush toilets, showers, hot water)

I would highly recommend Newell Lodge as a great place to relax and rest on a roadtrip or post up for a long weekend.

*Cell service: Weak to nonexistent on Google Fi (T-Mobile)

*We stayed at this Hipcamp in late October and the campground was at capacity. Lots of families, kids, and boy scouts/girl scouts running around through the evening. *Campground quieted down around 11pm and stayed quiet till about 7am when things picked up gain.
*Great location, right off the main highway and super close to Charleston.
*Nice views and landscape!
*Full LTE on Google Fi (T-Mobile)

We LOVED our stay at Great Smoky Lookout. Jacob is an incredible Hipcamp Host who has made a very special site. I've been fortunate enough to personally visit well over 75 Hipcamp properties and this was hands down one of my favorite experiences.

Jacob has thought of everything!

*He has set up multiple accommodations to choose from including a ground tent on tent platform, a small personal hammock, large multi-person elevated hammock, and elevated tree tent. We opt'd for the tree tent, which was super fun to stay in!

*The deck and outdoor kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.

*The fire-pit hangout area is well put together and even had kindling and pre-chopped wood ready to go for us!

*The composting toilet and outdoor sink are incredibly clean and well maintained. One of the best I've seen.

*Finally, the views and sense of privacy at the site atop the hill are amazing. I can't wait to return and spend more than one night at the property.

*Note: There is a very short, but rather steep hike up to the site. I'd recommend packing light, which is easy to do since Jacob provides everything you need at the top. We just brought our bedding + food up with us and left everything else in the truck.

We enjoyed our quick pitstop at Savage Acres! We arrived late and left early as we were on a long road trip.

Highlights:
*Great location, close to Roanoke.
*Easy to find and access field. Google maps worked for us.
*Picnic table, string lights, fire pit were all provided, although we did not use them as it rained all evening. (Made for a beautiful foggy/cozy morning.)
*Ned's friends who live / stay on the property were incredibly kind and showed us around.

Lowlight: *The porta-potties were long overdue for servicing during our visit (Nearly full)

We loved our stay at Blues & Greens! Such a beautiful property and Maria and Phil were amazing and kind Hipcamp Hosts. I would definitely stay again the next time I’m visiting the Peninsula.

My wife and I had such a great stay at Noah's property. The view looking out towards the Pacific was amazing! The on-site picnic table and trash bin were great amenities to have access to.

Noah was a great communicator and provided excellent instructions. I appreciated the nice touch of placing our initials on the site gate so we knew exactly where to go!

The site felt very private thanks to the natural elevation differences between sites and layout of access roads. The sites are physically close enough to one another where you will hear your neighbors however. With that being said all the other Hipcampers there were super respectful and quieted down around the standard ~10:30pm camp quiet time hours.

We had such a great stay! I can't wait to camp here again! Thanks for being a Hipcamp Host, Noah!

We absolutely over our stay at Redwoods Wine Country Escape. Our Host, Christina was so helpful in making sure we booked the perfect site and that we knew how to found and access the property.

The site was very private, and had a great shade structure over the picnic table. The bath house was a short walk away and is so well done (Reclaimed stain glass windows, flushing toilet, running water.)

I would highly recommend this Hipcamp to anyone staying in the Navarro, Boonville, Philo area! Thanks again for hosting us, Christina!

Juniper Spur Ranch is such a beautiful Hipcamp with an AMAZING view of Mt. Shasta and the most friendly and helpful Host. The property is located right off U.S. Route 97 and just outside Weed, CA. This was a great place to camp on the drive between the the Bay Area and Bend, OR. I can't wait to visit again on my next road trip up to Oregon! Thanks for hosting me, Patrice!

I had such an amazing stay at Cedar Root! Our Hipcamp Host, Brad, was so helpful, friendly, and responsive with all of his communications. His property is absolutely gorgeous and all the sites are so well built out. I was in a Camping vehicle so stayed in Site 2, which is closest to the main residence. The site still felt very private and truly enjoyed our stay, I can't wait to visit Cedar Root again the next time I'm passing through Portland!

The Landing is such a magical Hipcamp! The Hipcamp Host, David, was incredibly helpful and friendly when providing directions and making sure we arrived safe and sound! Site 1 was so well developed, very private, and right on the river bank. I can't wait to stay again the next time I'm passing through the Cascades. There were other Hipcampers staying at site 2 when we were there and we never saw or heard them, feels like you have the property to yourself! Thanks again for hosting us, David!
