This was our first time trying hiocampers and we were not disappointed. Booking was smooth and Mark responded quickly and professionally. The sites were spacious and clean and the location was perfect. I’d highly recommend this location

Loved it: very relaxing, spacious, surrouded by forest, farm, singing highways, sky full of stars, deer at night along the approach road as it is near a forested area - a magical stay overall. Wish we could have stayed even longer. Recommended.

I really enjoyed tent camping at the group site at 3 sisters. The pictures made the group site look like it was in a wide open field with a pond, but it was infact behind a fence nestled between trees and a vacant house. Honestly it was the most private and desirable site in my opinion, beating out any provincial site I've stayed at. It was very peaceful, tons of nature sounds of birds, crickets, and roosters in the morning. There was even a little duck farm at the watering hole, and cows at the neighboring property. The outhouse was the cleaniest I've ever seen in my life, almost like it was brand new. Only cons I can think of were that the water supply was straight up just a garden faucet with no hose or nozzle, there are no showers on-site, the site itself is tricky the first time to find as the address sign is hidden and the watering hole has no signage either. If you can plan for those im sure you'll have a great time! Really reccomend here

Mark was a great host! Super friendly, responsive and knowledgeable about the area. The yurt was lovely, clean and perfect as a base from which to explore the surrounding areas. And a note about that… there is SO much to do nearby whether you like the beach, adventure, or just strolling.
The property was peaceful, private, and had lots of room for yard games if one so chose.
The port a potty was spotless and close by. The mini fridge in the yurt was appreciated as well as the fan. Having access to a fresh water tap was awesome!

Close to Parksville, nice and quiet at night; a great rooster alarm clock, Buddha is a lovely bulldog concierge, very nice tent site. My first Hipcamp experience was 9/10. (a 3-sisters sign would have been nice in finding the driveway…)

We needed a place to stay one night, and this suited us fine. However the facilities were very limited, and it would not suit everyone. I was aware of this when I booked. It was peaceful and mosquito free. Our site wasn't as level as we would like so we parked nearby. We didn't see our host. Rather over priced for what was there.

The campsite was very clean and quiet which was great! The instructions Mark gave to find the site was very clear so it made it very easy to find where we needed to go. The toilets were also clean and well kept so that was a nice bonus!

So good! We spent the night at this beautiful and very peaceful spot on our way up island. We had lots of space on the grass with trees and bushes around. Communication was quick and friendly, and Mark’s directions were helpful in finding the place and getting settled in our spot. It was easy to get our trailer in and out and the outhouse was the cleanest one I’ve ever seen! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Mark has created several campsites in addition to a very cozy yurt campsite on his property. There a picnic tables for each site. The porta potty is very clean as well as the grounds. It’s great camping for a night or two close to Naniamo for connecting to the ferry, or to head to Tofino or driving north to Campbell River as we were doing. A good place to catch your breath! Mark was available, yet respected our “space”!

The space we were in was very private, the drinking water was accessible, and the portapotty bathroom was very clean! We were also greeted by a very friendly and cute dog. Just beware of his sharp nails if you try to play a little rough 🤣 great place to sleep!

We needed a safe quiet place to park our minivan camper on a Saturday night after paddling in The Broken Islands for 5 days. This worked out perfectly for us. All the provincial parks were full. Mark approved our request promptly. It was quiet, peaceful with plenty of birds in the surrounding trees. Ground is level. Nice picnic table. Lots of space. Good water and very clean outhouse.

Awesome campsite for a first stay, it was quiet aside from the assortment of birds. Far enough away from Parksville to feel like a little escape from civilization, but still drive in to get supplies if necessary. Very clean outhouse, and a very respectful dog co-host named Budha.
