Great location near Monument Valley with friendly hosts. We enjoyed walking up the trail to the view of Monument Valley. The site and outhouse were neat and well laid out. Comfortable for our 2-night stay to enjoy Monument Valley.

Beautiful, quiet and private site by a stream, with a friendly host near I-5. Highly recommended! Great for tent or our pop-up camper.

in Serene! 15 min to Joshua Natl Park, CaliforniaWelcome camping near town
Lovely night in the quiet desert not far from town. Great spot for our Four Wheel pop-up camper. Nice deep fire pit to enjoy the warmth of a small (and safe) fire, and we enjoyed cooking in our dutch oven in the morning. Our dog enjoyed being off leash, although we put him on leash in the evening when the coyotes started serenading us. Recommended, comfortable location.

Easy, comfortable, charming place to stay right in Portland. Some road noise, more than compensated by the goats, turkeys, room to walk around and, right now, fresh raspberries! Great nightâs rest.

Site 3 - REDWOODS+WINE COUNTRY+ESCAPE
in Mill Creek Retreat, CaliforniaLovely spot in redwoods
We enjoyed two nights at Mill Creek Retreat. We were lucky to arrive between rainstorms, and enjoyed the beautiful location in the redwoods at the edge of the Anderson Valley and our trips to the coast. Highlights were walking to (and in) the creek on the property, having our pup thrilled by the freedom of being off leash and, as others have noted, the great restroom. The weekend after Thanksgiving, we were the only campers; I expect the camp is busier other times. I would recommend the camp for families and groups especially; there is a great group/wedding site on the property. We were only disappointed that our site was bordered by piles of wood (from a prior structure?) and that the solar lights on the route to the outhouse were not functioning. We were glad that a site was available with sun and dry ground. Christina was helpful providing directions for our arrival, with prompt communications.
