in Hamakua Guesthouse, HawaiiWe stayed in a cabana at Hamakua House for 1 night during a rainstorm and it was magical! The sounds of the rainforest were so relaxing during the night. The hammocks were comfy and all the amenities you need are provided. If youâre looking for a little off grid island experience, this is it! We canât wait to come back.

in Caroline's Stand Hana Maui, HawaiiA great place to camp on the road to Hana! The campsite is perched on a grassy hill just off the highway with a view of the ocean. The site includes a firepit, chairs, table, bathrooms, and shower.

After staying in countless hipcamps across the west coast, Cedar Bloom is my favorite. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.

The Redwood Stumphouse
in The Redwood Stumphouse, CaliforniaThe Redwood Stumphouse is the perfect place to stay on your northern California road trip. The Stumphouse is in the forest behind Julie's house but still feels very private. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest.

Valley View Farm Campsite - #1
in Valley View Farm, CaliforniaMy fiancee and I have been to several hip camps throughout California and this was by far one of our favorites! Site #3 is perched on top of a hill overlooking Moro Bay/rock. The site was completely private and included everything you need. 10/10 would recommend!
