    The Flying H Ranch is owned and operated by Harlan and Sharon Ray. They have owned the ranch since 1995 when “H” retired from the Air Force. The Rays operate the ranch not only to run cattle, hay and horses but it is also an event venue and vacation cabin rental.     Second consecutive year with an overnight spring stay. Well kept pasture, largely on account of goats doing the mowing and weed control-lol, but nice spot to stay altogether and quiet

    Great space & gorgeous property, friendly host. There was work going on in the barn until after 11 pm but I was a last minute stay and just happy have a safe place to set up camp.

    Harlan’s place was nice respite from the road. Simple, easy directions, basically single road straight off highway, and quarter mile off that to end of road. Working farm with livestock, and quiet and isolated from houses. Boondock only, but that fit our needs as fully capable without hookups. Nice bucolic site. Harlan was welcoming and attentive, and didn’t seem put out by needing to pen up the goats in another pasture as our dogs do not do well (read as barky-barky) with livestock. Will definitely make this a must our next trip through.

    My husband and I had a BLAST here! Large, beautiful, clean property, the dog was super sweet, Harlan was very nice and helpful and honestly, you really can’t beat those firewood prices. And we were pleasantly surprised to hear the there was a bathroom on the property. I certainly recommend Flyin’ H Ranch and we will be back!

    Great spot to camp and fish! Harlan met us at the gate and took us around the campsite. We met a dog, goats, chickens and some horses. Clean bathrooms. Wood was ready at the fire pit.

    Lovvvved this spot! It's so gorgeous! The listing photos do not do it justice. This is a stunning property. We enjoyed the chorus of frogs croaking to a background of crickets and cicadas under the stars. We woke up to a beautiful pond covered in flowering lily pads and goats nearby munching away. We enjoyed wandering a bit of the property and we're in awe of Harlan's structures and gardens. He is SO nice. We learned a few things from him and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

    We parked our rv overlooking the pond, fire pit, plenty of space to spread out, Harlan is THE MAN. No hookups but we prepared by dumping and filling our water ahead of time and had no issues. 10/10 would camp again.

    We loved our stay at Flyin H Ranch! We were only there for one night, but it was fabulous. The land and beautiful pond are picturesque. The hosts are very attentive, responsive, friendly, and provided great service. We loved seeing the animals, and enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. We even discovered that they have an event space, and it is absolutely lovely! It is obvious that the land is run with love and care. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

    Neat property. Refreshing views. We camped along a pond 1 night with 1 tent and 1 RV. Hosts were excellent. Welcomed, checked in on us, and brought us wood. My 3 yr old loved seeing the goats and horses. I fished a little in the morning and caught a few small bass. Didn't have time to check out their trails. We spent the next day at Tyler SP. Thanks for letting me leave a vehicle there while we went to TSP. Exactly what we expected and needed. Thank you!

    Harlan was very accommodating. I came in late, and had to leave early so I never got to experience the all the site had to offer. I hope to make it back again sometime with more time and my fishing rod.

    We loved the frog sounds from the lake at night, and the bird songs in the morning. This is a beautiful place. Harlan is an awesome host, responsive, helpful and caring. World could use more folk like him, and more places like Flyin H. Highly recommended
