Tired of campgrounds that feel more like parking lots? Come and reconnect with nature and park your RV on our private, large, shaded, full hookup, 72 ft long, 30 and 50 amp RV site with wifi on our 50 acre farm with fire ring and picnic table and screen house. We are not a campground, just a small farm in a rural neighborhood with 2 full hookup RV sites for guests. 30 minutes (17miles) North of Nashville, Tennessee. There are wild Turkeys and Deer that roam the property. We also have some free range Guineas and Peacocks which is why we ask that all dogs, while welcome, remained leashed at all times. Great place to get away and enjoy nature, take a walk on our trails through the woods, take a hike down to our creek, listen to the birds and watch the sunset over the pasture while cooking s’mores on the fire, yet not that far from Nashville! Perfect for enjoying nature and/or visiting Nashville. Traveling with horses? They are welcome to use our fenced pasture. This site is for self contained RVs only, there are no restroom facilities. Check in is between 2 pm and sundown. No check ins after dark without prior approval. Limit of 2 vehicles and 2 pets. When you request to book just let us know how many people will be camping, how many pets you will be bringing with you and what you are camping in, travel trailer or motor home, and what length in feet it is. Thank you! Since this is a natural area of fields and woods, along with farm animals and wildlife you may encounter insects. Absolutely wonderful. Very quiet, peaceful and accommodating. Full hookups, easy back in. Wifi was great. Peacocks will visit during your stay. Dittie was so polite and showed us around the farm. She had our granddaughter a coloring book and crayons, so sweet. She also gave us a jar of blueberry lemon jam that she made. Make sure to check ahead of your visit to see if her granddaughter has organic range free eggs for $4 a dozen. We will definitely be back!!

Ditte and Stan were gracious and accommodating hosts. The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. They had extra amenities such as Wi-Fi and cable. They also had a beautiful fenced in screened room with outdoor furniture, board games and a binder giving the location of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and other local places to shop. Included was a nice fire pit with outdoor furniture and firewood included. There was a welcome bag on the picnic table with homemade blueberry jam made from their homegrown blueberry garden. There was also a map locating the hiking trails on their property. Fenced in dog run and peacocks roaming the premises. They're only 30 miles from Nashville, great location. I highly recommend this camp ground. I give it a 10.

One of a kind!

We were looking for a quiet and safe space for our 38’ camper while celebrating our anniversary and visiting Nashville. This spot was everything we asked for and a lot we didn’t even know we were missing. Here are a few highlights that sets this treasure apart. These were our experiences and we were just left in awe. 1. Secluded- The site was very private with houses in the distance, but the beautiful trees and bushes shield you. 2. The best hosts you could ask for. Ditte and her husband met us at the site after providing clear directions. Communication was immediate, clear, helpful and kind. There were fresh pulled blueberries, homemade jam, and fresh flowers in the screen house on arrival! 3. The site! The site was clearly marked and level. We had plenty of supplies but the host had items ready if needed. Fast WiFi was easy to use. 4. The screen house! The screen house was nice for drinking coffee in the mornings while taking in the fresh air or playing some bluegrass gospel in the evenings. The site was only a few miles outside of the craziness of Nashville but allowed us to be close enough to visit and explore. Thanks again for the hospitality Ditte! This was possibly the best camping experience we’ve ever experienced.

The site was beautifully set up, it was very clean and organized. It was quiet and private. We still felt very safe. Ditte and her husband had everything available that we might possibly need. The property had very well marked trails that were well kept. I loved how the wooded area was healthy and extremely biodiverse. It was fun looking at all flowers and wildlife throughout the walk. If you love birds, there is a wonderful variety to watch and listen to. There was also an old field that had a section mowed so that our dogs could run off leash. That was a very nice touch. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing, and stress free weekend and were not disappointed. We will definitely be recommending this site to anyone who asks and will be back when we need a much needed escape. Also, make sure to buy a dozen farm fresh eggs from Miss Rose:)

Ditte’s property was beautiful and her and her husband were so kind. They met us when we got there to help us back our travel trailer into the perfect spot. She gave us a tour of her daughters farm across the street. Where the kiddos got to meet peacocks, goats, and chickens. They included so many details that really added to the experience. Like a rope light on the ground to use as a runway when backing in, A lantern to use on top of the electric and water area, A converter from 50 amp to 30 amp for our trailer, Chairs by the firewood and cut up firewood for our use. Extra large picnic table and charcoal grill worked out great and the screened in porch was perfect. Even a small fenced in area next to the screened in porch to keep our kids contained while setting up. We were disappointed that the creek was dry when we got there but the trails are still very nice and we had a lovely time even without a creek visit. Thanks Ditte!!

AMAZING spot!!!

Ditte’s property is absolutely MAGICAL!! I had the best time on a little solo trip in my camper van for a couple of nights and wished I could have stayed longer! It was safe, serene, and super well-maintained. The campsite was very spacious and quiet. Ditte truly cares about being an excellent host and includes lovely amenities at the campsite such as bug spray, games, firewood, plenty of seating and tables, a grill, and more! The loop trail was gorgeous and I saw lots of wildlife! Ditte was extremely kind and welcomed me to my site to help me back in. I loved every single thing about my time here and can’t wait to return again!

Clean, Comfortable, Accommodating

Ditte and Stan communicated very well and met us as we drove in. They gave us 6 organic free-range eggs and homemade strawberry jam!! The spot was clean and level. They helped us back in and showed us around the property. We had a darling screened in patio where we spent time playing games, reading etc. everything was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!!

Ditte was very friendly and had a beautiful location for us to park our travel trailer. The lot was very level and had full hookups that were in great condition. The area is very well shaded, private, and maintained nicely around the lot. That alone earns this place a 10 out of 10, but there is more. The lot also has a fully screened in patio area for you to enjoy without worrying about all the flying insects. There is a small fenced in area for you to play with dogs while you are there, and a well shaded private trail for you to walk as well. Ditte's place is definitely a hidden gem for those looking for a location to park your RV.

What an amazing place! Ditte has done a wonderful job creating this peaceful and private site. There's isn't a detail missing. We loved sitting in the screened room drinking coffee in the mornings. The peacock came and visited a couple of times which was entertaining and we could hear the goats close by. One of our favorite places.

We had a wonderful experience camping on Dittie's land!! Her and her husband were both very friendly! There were great directions provided to get us in safely and avoid Nashville traffic! They offered a great fenced yard for our dog and a screened in porch. The kids loved getting to see their animals and ride their bikes around the camp sight.

FABULOUS HIPCAMP!

This is THE BEST hipcamp! Not only do they provide full electric and septic hookups, but the farm is beautiful with walking trails, grills, and a screened in porch. However, the greatest part is the very kind hosts. Ditte and Stan went above and beyond as we stayed here waiting for our first grandbaby to arrive. I would love to stay here again if passing through Nashville!

This is an amazing site with everything you need to have a relaxing and fun time. Close to the happenings of Nashville but far enough away to experience a peaceful time in nature. The hosts are exceptional. I would advise if you have pets check regularly for ticks. We would highly recommend and will hopefully be back.

We absolutely loved the site, Ditte and Stan were so welcoming and even gave us a little treat bag with some tasty surprises. The site was very level, close to Nashville, but still far enough out for some peace and relaxation. We had to cut our stay a day short due to work, but we will definitely be coming back! Also, there's deer EVERYWHERE of course that's usually true outside hunting season 🤣

Our stay at Ditte and Stan’s campsite was great. They met us when we arrived and helped with the parking. We even got a little treat bag. The campsite was well thought out. It was nice that it was level and the connections worked well. The screened in porch was very useful (for bugs and shade) and it had information on what to see in Nashville, where you can find the stores and lical farm stores, etc. You can cook over the fire or use the provided charcoal grill. Overall the place is well maintained and a lot nicer than the close up campground with one RV right on top of the other. The drive to Nashville was about 30-40min. One thing to keep in mind is that you are on a farm and there are animal noises. We had a peacock nesting in a close by tree. Overall, it was a great stay and we will be back next time we’re in the area.
