Hidden Timbers Homestead is a 7 acre campground retreat just 25 minutes outside the city of Nashville. With its open space and tall trees, it’s a private getaway still close to the action. The easy access and gravel roads give way to covered camping spots and quiet slips. The property also serves as a working homestead in its early years of development. On any given day you may be accompanied on your walks by our farm dogs or a chicken or two. Here you’ll find peace. It’s our goal that you leave revived and refreshed after hiding away for a few days on the homestead. Our “Shady slip” is nestled between two trees. Park your rig and enjoy your own private “patio” with views of our forest. Each site is equipped with a raised fire pit and picnic table upon request. You can also join us at our communal pit for conversation and music. Enjoy breakfast with farm fresh eggs you can gather yourself or have delivered each morning of your stay. Engage with nature and unplug, book a golf game, or take a quick drive into the city. Our homestead is a perfect place to ground and engage or hide away and refresh. We offer different seasonal events and will provide you with a list of local things to explore!

Awesome Place, Great Amenities!
Accessing the campground was easy! It was convenient to park. Location to the city was good and the drive into Nashville was smooth! Plenty of room for our dog to run around too! There was a lot of options for outdoor activities for kids and adults to enjoy! The hospitality was incredible. We felt welcomed and made some great friends!

Beautiful spot! Amazing hosts!
We absolutely LOVED this spot. Not only is the property beautiful with everything you need, but the hosts, Lauren & Jeremy, were awesome to talk to and so welcoming :) On top of that, Lauren was so communicative and helpful which we really appreciated. We came as guests and left feeling like we made some great friends 💛 So excited to go back once they expand the campsite even more! (FYI: grab some of the fresh chicken eggs. So yummy and felt good to eat local. And of course, I was immediately convinced that we need chickens of our own 😂) We 10/10 recommend this Hipcamp!

An oasis outside the city
Such a lovely family! Beautiful spot and the best part is just a short drive from downtown. Our little boy loved being able to see the chickens. Lovely spot.

The nicest people!
This homestead is beautiful and these are seriously the nicest people. There is a trampoline and plenty of room for a 5 year old to expend some energy after being on the road. The young lady of the house even came out and ran some races. I messaged ahead to say that my kid would love to gather eggs. The girls hadn’t laid quite a dozen so Jeremy added some to make sure there was a dozen and even threw some seed out away from the coop to keep the chickens away. This was greatly appreciated as my kid is very nervous around chickens. This property is already amazing but I can’t wait to see it when the yurts and bathhouse are in. Definitely recommend!!!
