An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. For the foodies, Chelan is just 30 miles south and Twisp/Winthrop is 40 miles to the North, also abundant with events, wineries, and shopping.

The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan. This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Phil is a phenomenal host and his property is to die for. Incredibly tranquil and private. We had the most amazing family reunion with Phil’s expansive property and river front access all to ourselves, we felt so lucky. Phil and his adorable sidekicks Kujo and Sumo were the cherry on top of it all!

We had a great time camping at Plain Valley! Right down the street from stores and farmers market, winery, etc. There's a little brewery with an outside firepit, pool table, games on site. Mike is kind and very laid back. Thanks Mike, we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. Their children were also very polite and respectful, which added to the family-friendly atmosphere.
The location is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The amenities were excellent and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Thank you for your hospitality and for creating such a welcoming environment. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a great camping experience!

We loved our stay. Campsite was so clean and neat and the bathroom next level clean. Loved falling a sleep with the sound of the water, but I think our dogs had the best time. Perfect spot to venture in any direction. We went to Alta lake and did the Methow river rafting.

Nice enough RV park. Bathrooms were clean, showers were very hot and water pressure was good. Each site had hookups. I reserved spot 8 but it was taken so I was able to move in to another spot easy enough. About 15 miles from downtown Leavenworth. Seemed like most campers were long term which is fine. Everyone kept their spots clean.

The property is set up nicely with 2 spots. Site A is the easier set up given the location of the elctrical outlet and ease of backing in the trailer. We had the site to ourselves, so this review is based on that. There is plenty of space for yard games, we played a lot of bocce ball, frisbee, kicked a soccer ball around and hung out by the fire for some serious rounds of Uno. The fire bowl is large and offers a great setting near the river. A Bald Eagle graced our presence hovering over the river which was a cool visual. The outhouse has a heat lamp which is suitable for a cold night and made doing the business more comfortable than expected. A very clean site overall. Only down side is the location is right off the hwy, so raod noise is a thing if that bothers you. Also, do not follow google maps, it will take you down Braeburn Rd way past the site. Turning a trailer around was a challenge. As you pull off the hwy onto Braeburn, the lot is the first left. Way easy to find, I was just stuck to maps, so more of a human error.
If you take this spot, you will enjoy it.

The fall foliage is gorgeous this time of year and the river made a beautiful backdrop. Porta potty was clean and had a nice heat lamp. Easy in and out for a 31' RV. A little weird having the owners come and go putting stuff in the shed while there. I wouldn't want to stay here if the other site is booked, they're not private at all. Very well kept, beautiful!

We arrived and the host welcomed us. Gave us a great stop to camp. He invited us into the brewery to relax. He has a great property. The little town of Plain is very cute and they were friendly. There’s a cafe, hardware store, resort Winery bike shop and of course the Plain Brewery. I hope you enjoy your stay. E-bike friendly.
