Creek & Safety Expectations
Slippery Rock Creek is a natural waterway, and conditions can change quickly. Water levels and currents may increase after rain or storms. Guests should exercise caution when entering or using the creek area.
Children must be closely supervised around the creek at all times. Pets must also be kept under control near the water. Do not enter the creek during high water, strong currents, or other unsafe conditions.
The creek bank and surrounding terrain may be uneven, slippery, or muddy. Appropriate footwear is recommended, especially when walking near the water.
Please do not leave children or pets unattended near the creek, and use common sense when exploring the property.
Pets Welcome
Well-behaved pets are welcome. Some neighboring properties have dogs, so please keep your pets under control and clean up after them. Guests are responsible for their pets throughout their stay.
Hunting & Outdoor Recreation
The property is conveniently located near public hunting areas, making it a great place to stay during hunting season. It also provides a relaxing base camp for anyone wanting to spend time outdoors and explore the surrounding area.
Guests participating in hunting activities are responsible for knowing and following all applicable Pennsylvania hunting laws, seasons, licensing requirements, and public-land regulations.
Fire Pit & Firewood
Enjoy an evening around the fire at your campsite. A fire pit is available, and firewood can be provided for an additional fee. Please use the fire pit responsibly and follow any applicable fire restrictions.
A Few Things to Know Before Booking
Do not use the bathroom in the camper. A portable restroom is provided outside.
This is a private camping property, not a traditional full-service campground. There is no running water or Wi-Fi, so guests should bring their own drinking water and any additional water needed during their stay.
There are neighboring properties, including some with dogs, so this is not a completely isolated wilderness setting. We ask guests to respect the surrounding properties and keep noise at a reasonable level.
Please leave the property as you found it, dispose of trash properly, clean up after pets, and respect the creek and surrounding land.
Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway, a place to camp beside the creek, a comfortable camper stay, or a convenient base for hunting and outdoor activities, we welcome you to enjoy the property and make yourself at home.
