*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.

The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

Come and enjoy WNY winter sports!! We are ideally located for skiing, tubing and boarding directly between Peek N Peek (43 miles) or Holiday Valley (40 miles). There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The Hosta Cabin sits on about 7 acres of peaceful lakefront property with 450 feet of frontage on Lake Erie. We have stairs that provide direct access to the beach, and there’s ample room to hang out, enjoy a campfire, or take a long walk by the water. If you’re traveling with children or want to camp, there’s also plenty of space for a tent.
There are two cabins on the property, each with its own fire pit and chairs. While they are next to each other, there’s ample space between them, and they’re close enough for a family or group to rent both for a shared stay.
We live on the property, so you may see us or our friendly dog around. While we try to give our guests space, we’re always available to answer questions and enjoy a friendly conversation when welcomed.

This is a SMOKE-FREE property, both INSIDE and OUTSIDE.
We want everyone to enjoy their stay and relax responsibly. However, we do not allow any illegal drugs or excessive drinking. If we feel that guests are intoxicated or using drugs, they will be asked to leave, and the police may be called if necessary.

There is no TV. We do not offer wifi. Think of this as a place to unplug and enjoy some peace and quiet. Having said that, most cell services work just fine here.”
We do have neighbors who are generally quiet. My dog may bark at wildlife. You may be present during my yard work. There is always the possibility of road work. As a rule, it is quiet and peaceful.

Welcome to our charming cabin, built in the summer of 2022 from a simple 12X26 Amish frame.
*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.
Nestled on its own 4-acre parcel within our family's 12-acre plot, this cozy retreat offers a private driveway and setting for your getaway.
New additions this year include a fire ring and porta-potty, adding to the complete experience of your stay. Just a mile down the road, you'll find access to Lake Erie, boasting a small beach and kayak slip. On clear nights, don't miss the opportunity to gaze at the stunning stars above.
Your host, Brian, has infused the cabin with photography and treasures from his global journeys, adding a unique touch to your stay. The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. The price is kept low to reflect this a campsite rental, not a hosted Airbnb. With that said every effort is made to make things comfy.

True campsite experience and not an Airbnb rental, meaning there is no electricity, water, or sewer on the property. However, we provide battery packs and solar options for your convenience. The dish sink operates with a foot pump connected to a 5-gallon water jug. Guests are welcome to bring their own wood or explore the surrounding area for available resources.
For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

Come and enjoy WNY winter sports!! We are ideally located for skiing, tubing and boarding directly between Peek N Peek (43 miles) or Holiday Valley (40 miles). There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. Great location for winter sports just 20 minutes from the newly renovated and reopened Cockaigne ski resort, and it’s just miles from access to marked snow mobile trails. Mud room makes it easy to shed and store boots and jackets. Spring time activities includes “March maple syrup madness” and exploring the Amish communities of Chautauqua county. For summertime it is just minutes to the Lake Erie shoreline and Dunkirk harbor for aquatic activities. In the Fall you cannot beat the canopy of colors. There are 4 wonderful wineries within 5 miles of your door, bring a bottle home and enjoy it by an outdoor campfire, or just sit on the patio and look up at the night sky. In the morning you can make your coffee by the cup, or carafe then sit on the patio and watch the sunrise. Major department and food stores are just minutes away. Our farm is a 20-year project in the making. We started with our horses and grew into the alpacas about 7 years ago. And recently added a cashmere goat. The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The Hosta Cabin sits on about 7 acres of peaceful lakefront property with 450 feet of frontage on Lake Erie. We have stairs that provide direct access to the beach, and there’s ample room to hang out, enjoy a campfire, or take a long walk by the water. If you’re traveling with children or want to camp, there’s also plenty of space for a tent.
There are two cabins on the property, each with its own fire pit and chairs. While they are next to each other, there’s ample space between them, and they’re close enough for a family or group to rent both for a shared stay.
We live on the property, so you may see us or our friendly dog around. While we try to give our guests space, we’re always available to answer questions and enjoy a friendly conversation when welcomed.

We do have neighbors who are generally quiet. My dog may bark at wildlife. You may be present during my yard work. There is always the possibility of road work. As a rule, it is quiet and peaceful.

This trip was absolutely amazing. Brian is an attentive and friendly host with the utmost care for hosting people. The cabin was well-equipped and so incredibly cozy. We love the location, close enough to Tim Horton’s for us to grab coffee but on property that feels secluded and perfectly quiet and peaceful. For it being winter, we were lucky to have had the most incredible weather for February, giving us the opportunity to walk through the woods, explore and enjoy how beautiful the woods are with the snow. We will absolutely be back in other seasons, there was still so much for us to do and see in the area! Thank you, Brian for everything!

I come here with my partner each Christmas and we listen to the ever growing record collection while we listen to the cracking wood in the Woodstock. There's a propane cook top for coffee and tea as well as frying pans and pots. The bed is so comfortable. Bring a book if you like. The host is amazing and makes sure you have anything you need as they live just down the way.

It’s a great size, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for the start of our cross country trip back home , including a buddy heater for the cold night. Angie and Dan were absolutely terrific Hosts. Very responsive and friendly. Cabin we stayed in was very clean and almost like new to be honest.
I also recommend taking them up on the breakfast add on. They do a really great job and helped us end our trip on a good note.

Weekend Trip to Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST
Absolutely amazing! Above and beyond! Brian our host was wonderful! Always available. The details inside and outside of the cabin were spectacular. The mowed path was an extra bonus, the beautiful art work on the path, the super comfortable bed, the sweet arrival goodies bag and cleanliness. I cannot wait to return!!

3 nights at Angie's Country Cabins B&B
We had a fabulous three nights staying in the Country Cabin at Angie's Country Cabins. The Country Cabin has it's own parking and outhouse and is secluded from the rest of the property. You are able to follow a path to the main site during the day, but I wouldn't recommend it at night. (That's ok, it is literally a 20 second drive.)
We had a great time meeting and chatting with Angie's family and other campers. Every morning we walked over to the main site and had a coffee, showered, and had a relaxing start to our day. Each night we settled around the community campfire and made some food, chitchatted with other campers, and one night pulled out guitars and jammed for a bit.
We are already talking about going back in the winter and staying in Reynolds Rustic Retreat -- hopefully we have a few feet of snow and can escape from the world.
Angie was always quick to respond to answer questions, both via phone and on the app. In addition she has videos, instructions on the amenities, and various books/games/etc. in the cabins.
Stay here, relax for a few days, and get off the grid!

Absolutely wonderful spot. Angie is super accommodating, the cabins and grounds and shared areas (hot tub, shower, kitchenette etc) are kept very clean and cozy. She’s very easy to work with and I always feel good about supporting her business. Very good price for the amount of glamp you get. I almost hate to give a good review cuz I don’t want it to get so popular it becomes hard to book lol

Really just spectacular little getaway in a quiet corner of the world. We are totally restored halfway through a long road trip thanks to our stay here. Angie has thought of every last detail and immediately felt like an old friend. Breakfast was delicious! We will be back! 🐕💕☃️⛵️

We loved our stay. The cabin is perfect. We did not mind being close to the road or the tracks. Everything was very wooded and felt private. close to town and right by the lake. The cabin had a bunch of amenities that were not mentioned such as a gas grill and an indoor cooktop, lanterns, a cooler etc. Very well set up. We will stay again.

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin is quite cute and stock with the basics you need. The property is beautifully landscaped and is very private. The beach was amazing and the views of the lake and the sunsets are spectacular. The Hostess Rosemary and a very wonderful, warm person. We will definitely stay again
