Conveniently located between the St Lawrence Seaway and the foothill Adirondacks there are lots or opportunities for outdoor recreation. There are plenty of hikes for all abilities and duration. If paddling is more your thing our county has 3 of the 10 longest rivers in NYS along with lakes and reservoirs. There are also nearby mountain bike trails, and we are not far from the St Lawrence County Multi Use Trail. While there are many interesting and interactive destinations close by, larger cultural destinations such as Ottawa or Montreal make great day trips.

My husband and I had the pleasure of being the first hip camp guests! What an amazing experience! We were so happy to visit this hidden gem! It is underdevelopment so it’s under a tad of construction. However this little gem is definitely one I would visit again. Joe was an amazing host and stayed up late for us after a small embarrassing navigation on my part(pfft truck driver getting lost lmbo)
I would overall say the experience was amazing. I wouldn’t bring tiny humans… like I said still under development and the ponds… being a hover craft mom still for my adult children. But as a doggie mom my dogs loved it! Thanks again Joe!

The Landing was exactly what I needed- a quiet area with open space where I could spend time with my dog, no frills required. The property owner was also easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. I will probably be in the area again and would definitely stay here again

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. Peggy gave us a tour of the farm. Trail walks along the pasture fences with horses coming up to us. Lots of shade and some sun. Close to towns but in the country. Hosts were great. Came to meet us and were very helpful.

Clean, neat, well maintained. Beautiful camping spot, electric (our pup was thankful for the air conditioning in 90+ degree temperatures). Easily accessible to multiple state parks in the area. Would also recommend visiting Henderson, Henderson Harbor, Sackett’s Harbor, Cape Vincent, Clayton. Alex Bay was much more “old boardwalk, touristy, kinda commercial” than I remembered from 20 years ago. Really fun weekend ~ Grandjean was as advertised ~ thank you!!
