We loved our weekend at Logan Park farm.
We stayed at pelican Point . The ground was very spacious and well kept . Our caravan was right on the river bank.
Lyn was very welcoming and provided information about the propert.y. We also took out dog and had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend.

What a stunningly beautiful spot.
Thanks Libby for moving us before we set up to Collins Camp as you were concerned about the wind.
We loved watching all the birds and enjoyed the fire pit. So much space between camps.
Oh and thanks for recommending the Tamrookum Fill and Feast around the corner - the curries were amazing and saved us having to cook :)

thought I booked for 2 nights but only booked for 1
added another once Libby informed us.
Firewood nice and dry, rained all night Saturday but no problem, as I love rain, woke up to mist and the most beautiful day on Sunday.
Well-manicured site and very large.
Looking to book again shortly.

Camped at carp central over the weekend. The name did not disappoint caught a handful of carp which was super fun for everyone camping.
Overall the spot is very well maintain grass was super low and a big area of flat spots for the campers.
You can definitely hear the highway at night and trains if you are not a deep sleeper.
Besides that I'll definitely be back again.
One recommendation would be for maybe a onsite drop box to be put in.

The place is unreal. Super quiet with great view. You may have people camping around you but far away enough so you fell super private. The lake view was amazing. The host was very welcome when we arrived after dark and showed us the camp site. We visited all campsites and they all look amazing. It became my number one hipcamp.
Optus reception and internet worked well.

Been to all these sites along this beautiful location and can't fault any of them
Whistling duck seems to produce the most fish 🐟 and libby the owner is forever helpful ❤️
I have brought friends and my children and everybody I bring loves the scenery the cool country air and just relaxing and gazing at the amazing stars whilst having a fire and letting the dog enjoy all the beautiful space these sites have to offer
10/10 hands down my favourite place to camp under the stars 🌟
Will always come back just a absolute mint spot 👌👍✌️

We loved it here. A nice open area which was away from other groups, short walk down the hill to the creek which kids loved playing in. The owners were wonderful and friendly, and provided an info pamphlet on arrival. Would definately be back.

Camped in lots of places and this remains a favorite. Lovely by the lagoon. Beautifully maintained and lots of space. Don’t forget to order wood for the fire - it is hard and dry.

We loved this place. It ticked all the boxes for us. Beautiful, flat, well maintained property right next to the water. Loads of space away from other campers, big fire pit, views. 90 minute drive from Brisbane on a Friday afternoon, absolutely perfect for a weekend away fishing with the dogs. Would highly recommend a stay here and I imagine we will be back again.

Absolutely awesome site. We’d seen the reviews but had no idea how good this Hipcamp is. As soon as we’d set up and taken a look around at the gorgeous private location, we booked the same site for later in the year. Apart from the faint traffic noise, this was absolutely one of the most private sites we’ve camped at. This will be a regular for us being so close to Brisbane. Can’t thank Lindy and her family enough for having us on their property.

WOW!! This hipcamp is absolutely amazing. Hosts were super welcoming. We set up at Carp Central and what an amazing view. Sitting by the fire and sipping on some wines. Wow! Felt like we were the only ones on earth haha one of the best hipcamps we've stayed at! YouTube episode coming this week - Wheels By The Ocean.

Quiet, peaceful, Libby was awesome and the family had a great time. Got a 22ft van in there no problem at all.
The carp are safe around us thats for sure.

Whistling-Duck Point (2WD)
We had a fantastic overnight stay at Whistling-Duck Point with friends. The site was peaceful, spacious, and beautifully maintained—with lush green grass and plenty of room for the kids to explore.
The highlight was gathering around the firepit under the stars. The firewood was top-quality—dry, dense, and burned beautifully all night, keeping us warm through the chilly evening.
Waking up to the fog rolling across the water was pure magic. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and letting us enjoy the space.
This is the perfect spot for a quick escape with family or friends. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved camping at River Beach camp. There was more than enough room for our 20ft van. Very private and right near the river. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We were a little late but Libby was understanding and a great host. Be back again very soon 5⭐️
