Site 1 - Top Shelf - 4wd
Beautiful!
I loved camping here. It was a great first camping experience. Lots of lovely sites that are all unique and great views. So much to do and the waterfall was great! Great facilities considering it is a rural cattle property. Everything you needed was right there.
Only thing to note is that you will need a 4x4 that you don’t mind getting knocked around to get to some sites. Tracks are very rocky and some of them difficult to access, but still can get to them.

Penthouse with an Outhouse - 4wd
Amazing Place!
Glad we chose Larapinta as our first time using Hipcamp. We really enjoyed staying in the Penthouse with an Outhouse. The campsite was huge and well away from other campsites. The sunset and sunrise from this location were amazing, as well as the night skies. Cameron was friendly and helpful. He’s done a great job setting this up, with a bathtub on the back of the truck, a portable solar-powered fridge on the passenger side of the truck, plus some chocolates for everyone to enjoy. We drove up to Jinny’s lookout; it was beautiful, but you will need a 4WD and be capable of operating it, as the track is challenging. Cannot recommend this place and the host highly enough. We would definitely come back.

I booked site 1 but got a quick text back suggesting 12 would be better due to some recent rain. Loved the extra care taken to make sure I had a good stay. Great site and really enjoyed the night! Nothing like an open fire, a great sunset and some star gazing!

Penthouse with an Outhouse - 4wd
5 ladies who hike together booked in last minute in doubtful weather. Cameron went over and beyond making us feel comfortable and allowing us to realise our dream. Getting to the penthouse !! And swimming in the waterfall . So special and the weather was very kind to us.
