Both the basic tent site and your Glamping Getaway site have Access to a modern bathhouse with toilet and sink. (This house is mere steps away from both sites). Your site has a panoramic view of theof mountains and cda lake. There are designated areas to park in the dirt driveway. (The parking number will be given to you on booking). There is a fire pit and outdoor picnic eating space, available to all. (Wood for the stove & fire pit , as well as food trays and wine, are available at an extra charge.) We pride ourselves on cleanliness. The glamping tent is deeply cleaned, with new sheets and pillowcases, and duvet cover, after each stay. There are multiple dining options from breakfast to dinner within 7-10 miles. We have kayaks available upon request as there are multiple small lakes (Kelso and Granite Lake) less than 5 miles away. We are generally available and on-site 24/7 for any issues, questions and or problems that may need solved. In the case you forget anything at all……we can find it, fix it or provide it. Campers will have gorgeous views and sunsets over the lake. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, hiking and wildlife watching abound. The campsite is off-the-beaten path so you'll be away from the crowds, yet the site is still close to other area attractions like Lake Pend Oreille (10 min. drive), charming downtown Sandpoint (15 min. drive) and Silverwood Theme Park (30 min. drive). The beauty and allure of Mirror Lake led to it being featured in two Hollywood movies -- Dante's Peak (1997) and Mel (1998). The lake itself is excellent for fishing, and stocked with Kokanee, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout. The stocking is typically scheduled for the first week of June each year, so if you are an angler, it's best to come after June 7th for the best fishing. Paying homage to the Bigfoot legend in northern Idaho, the theme of this campground is all things Sasquatch! Can you find all 9 Sasquatch hiding throughout the campground? Swimming in nearby Talache Landing (a.k.a. Talache Beach) on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille is an absolute must-do. The views are absolutely stunning and the water is crystal clear -- and quite refreshing on a hot day. Fishing is best done in a canoe or small boat which can be put in at our campground dock (free) or at the nearby public boat ramp ($5 fee). This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

Get ready to unwind on our historical farm that feels a world away but is just a 10-minute drive to downtown! Our cozy Bell Tent glamping site is perched to take full advantage of breathtaking sunsets and moonrises, rolling fields, and wildlife, giving you a front-row seat to nature’s show. A 2-minute drive (or 15 min walk) up the road, you’ll find hiking trails for all skill levels. The same distance down the road is our favorite winery offering tastings and a delightful ambiance for an evening out. They often have live music and food, but they welcome you to bring a charcuterie board of your own. Upon arrival, you’ll see a sign to pull in to our temporary parking beside the upper garden. A short (250 ft) walk to the site and you can settle in your camp. We ask that you keep food put away in coolers or plastic container to avoid attracting pests. The outhouse is just 35 feet from the site. Our site is designed with eco-friendliness in mind and the outhouse is equipped with a basic composting toilet. Please use wood shavings after each toilet use and dispose of all non compostable items in the provided garbage can on deck. In the tent, you’ll find a luxurious and firm queen size bed and compact tables for storing your items. We provide a power bank of electricity for those that need a c-pap (tested and true), or charging devices. Stay warm all night with our propane heater, down comforter and optional heated blanket. Up for exploring? Just stick to the mowed pathways and enjoy the different settings. A hammock waits in the shade of the cherry plum tree at the bottom of the property. Welcome to our “Peaceful Pinecone Grove” campground on a tranquil, secluded 3-acre homestead with myriad outdoor recreation activities nearby including: + Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park, both a 5 minute drive + The quaint community of Bayview and beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, 10 minutes away + Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint, both 30 minutes away + Super One Foods, ACE Hardware, an urgent care center and a gas station, along with Highway 95, just about a mile away This spacious, level, shaded back-in camp site provides all necessary hookups for your camper or trailer: electric, water and sewer. Wifi is provided as well. The space is most perfect for “van life” folks, designed by a host with her own glamping van that she keeps on the property. Having your own self-contained bathroom on board is preferred, but you are welcome to use our outhouse with a compost toilet and camping sink/water that will be cleaned and replenished every day. You’re welcome to pitch a tent or use the hammocks under the trees. There is a walking path through the woods, an outdoor clawfoot bathtub for cold plunges, and a trampoline. We’ll provide a couple of lounge chairs and a side table as well. On the homestead we grow a large selection of vegetables, fruit and flowers for the local farmers market. We also have a rooster and chickens that provide fresh eggs, and 2 VERY adorable tabby kitties that you’ll see roam the premises. You are welcome to visit the garden and stroll around, but please keep the garden gates shut for deer protection. You might enjoy a relaxing break on the bench in the herbal garden. For your culinary needs, please inquire about our commercial kitchen that is attached to the garage - it offers a 3-tier-sink, big fridge, freezer, toaster, water kettle, coffee maker, coffee thermos and various dishes and utensils. Homemade breakfast can be available upon request (coffee/tea, homemade German style bread or pretzels, jam, farm fresh eggs, freshly squeezed juices). Please refer to the pictures for an idea of options. Breakfast is $20 per person and needs to be booked two days in advance. We also offer kayak and SUP rentals for $25 per day. Snug tiny 8’x12’ bungalow in the woods with everything you need for a not-so-rustic camping experience, surrounded by a forested mountainside. Inside, you’ll find a cozy full-size bed with extra blankets and pillows, a rocking chair, and a small wardrobe. Just outside, there’s a level 8’x8’ tent platform for extra space. Enjoy a big patio with a swing, an outdoor kitchen with seating for four, a fire pit, room to park—and even ingredients for s’mores. The bungalow has power for lights and charging your gadgets, while fresh water comes from a 2.5-gallon spigot tank filled from our deep well. A private, breezy outdoor potty with a bucket toilet is included (and doesn’t stink—we promise!). The outdoor kitchen features a camp stove, sink, counter space, cooking utensils, camp dishes, and more. The outdoor adventure here is endless. Turn right up the road—part of the Idaho Centennial Trail—to explore hundreds of square miles of roads, trails, wildlife, mountains, and rivers. I loved Ashley’s yurt!! This place is a piece of heaven. The yurt is so comfy and cozy and has everything you might need. The bed is incredibly comfortable and they have the best pillows. The hot tub is the best part. Getting to relax with snow falling all round makes it feel like a dream.

Sara’s cabin was a perfect last stop on our road trip. It was so clean, quiet, and cozy. The morning stroll through the property down to the river with the dogs was refreshing and peaceful. I wished I could have stayed longer! I would absolutely go back on any future Spokane trips.

1 night at Glenrose Farm

My travel dog Thor and I had an exceptionally warm and cozy stop at this beautiful property en route to Golden BC. The field tent sits on a lovely deck overlooking a beautiful valley. With all the development in Spokane it is amazing that this beautiful semi urban area is so close to the city. We loved watching the sunset, deer in the field and stars at night. The tent and field kitchen are exceptionally well appointed. The bed is super comfy and the tent feels like a boutique hotel with all the hosts thoughtful touches. The host are lovely and great communicators. So glad they are sharing their little piece of Spokane valley paradise with people like me. We will be back with more time to relax, enjoy the tent, deck and the beautiful valley.

2 nights at Paradise on Mirror Lake

This place is magical! The cabin is adorable and very cozy. There’s little lanterns in the trees which are a great touch at night. The water is super close and the fishing dock is wonderful to sit on while watching sunset. It was so quiet and peaceful. The restroom was super clean and near by. It’s a very well kept and beautiful location.

We absolutely loved our stay in Angela’s yurt enjoying the beautiful Glenrose area. Everything we needed was provided and farm fresh eggs were a treat. This stay is especially great for locals to have a little time “away” to slow down and be in nature. I cannot recommend enough - we plan to return for sure!

1 night at Paradise on Mirror Lake

Beautiful site! I stayed at site A, and it's a cozy, tiny cabin, but the site itself felt like a ton of space. Clean, private, and on the lake! I saw a ton of wildlife too. And it's cheaper than most places would be for what you get. Will be going back sooner than later! Nathaniel was a great host too. My only feedback would be to include signs to the garbage disposal. I tried to find it after dark and got lost even with the map (this may be user error so take it with a grain of salt).

Weekend Trip to Cozy Mountain Bungalow

The cabin was great - it was a small shed converted into a cabin that had a single (full-sized? queen?) bed with a rocking chair, an armoir, and a small closet. The bathroom was an attached outhouse with sawdust to soak up waste and neutralize any smells. They provided a camping sink with 5 gallons of water, a camping gas stove, a citranella candle, and plates, bowls, and utensils. The cabin sits towards the middle of the driveway to the hosts' house and they have the friendliest dog. My son and I had a great time. Zero light pollution, no noise pollution, just fresh north Idaho air.

The Belle of Glenrose was a quaint and easy to access place to stay for the night. I enjoyed the warmly decorated inside of the yurt, as well as the deck with views of the valley. It was fun to see the chickens in the yard. Walking on the mowed trails was enjoyable, and having close proximity to the park trail up the road was an added bonus.

Weekend Trip to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat

We truly enjoyed ourselves at The Bunk House. Stayed two nights. The amenties were on point and made it so easy to last minute plan a mini trip. We only needed food and clothes. We spent most of our days down at the river. The kids loved playing all day in the water. Floaties included. Sara is a very attentive host. Her two dog's were awesome and were great with our small baby dog. Great vibes! We will be back!!

This was the perfect little getaway our anniversary! Everything was so thoughtfully set up from the cozy string lights around the tents interior to the rustic kitchen equipped with all the tools needed to make a delicious breakfast & coffee. This location is an escape to the countryside, but is still so close to lots of local restaurants and adventures. Will definitely be staying here again!

Weekend Trip to Paradise on Mirror Lake

We had a wonderful visit. This is our 2nd visit. The lake has alot of Lilly pads but we went out and went swimming at Lake Pend Orielle and had a great time. The lil cabin is nice to put all of our stuff in so that it doesn't clutter the tent. The burn ban was in effect but we still sat around the fire pit and listened to all the sounds. The frogs were making music. So many turkeys and deer. Such a gorgeous view. Will be back again!

Beauty Creek Campground

No Creek - all dried up. Bathrooms had maggots and the worst I have ever seen. There are people living in tents during the summer, which then does not allow you to sit by the fire and talk after 9pm. The camper who lives at the camp site also likes to sun bath in the nude. Not a great place to take children! Camp host Rick seemed nice at first, until he came to our site and screamed at us for talking. We were extremely quite, yet he called us names. We told him he crossed the line with us by yelling in front of our children. Thankfully he called the Sheriff. After speaking with the Sheriff, we were told we did nothing wrong and he was going to have a talk with Rick. I will never go back there.
