Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! We stayed 2 nights at the Yurt, Nick was awesome! He prepared for us a beautiful fire pit, was very attentive to any of our needs and gave us great recommendations to visit around the area. Shower is hot, restrooms and yurt very clean. The spot is truly beautiful and peaceful, in front of a lake and great for a weekend off from the city life. Very recommended, thanks Nick!

Had an amazing stay with my husband and 2 girls. Perfect ending to my daughter’s spring break. Also loved exploring the city of Clermont. Such a cute downtown area, and farmers market on Sunday. Definitely would recommend this experience to anyone interested in a peaceful and fun little getaway. Hosts were very accommodating and even had a stand near the entrance where you can buy some treats or products. Cannot wait to come back hopefully this is me and my family’s new spring time tradition.

Nick and his wife were incredible hosts and the site was beautiful. Every morning you step out to the sun rising over the lake view at the end of their property; stunning! Weekend Trip to Wolf Branch Ranch

Great place to get away for the weekend, listing was exactly as described. Gorgeous morning view off the water and comfy firepit for the evenings/nights. Host was very accommodating and on-site firewood is of great quality. Location to surrounding dog-friendly parks, grocery and food was very convenient. Will be returning in the future.

Weekend Trip to Camp Shiloh

It was beautiful at the green house, we stayed when it was still the edge of winter so the greenhouse heat was really nice in the morning. Open the windows and doors in the afternoon. The lights and atmosphere were too pretty. Dont forget a way to wash things ins like i did though

4 nights at Camp Mack

The Lodge was great. Clean. Great parking. A lovely walk around the area. Had a relaxing time. Even if you dont fish it's an excellent place to stay. Best warm pool we had the whole 2 month trip all over Florida.

1 night at Camp Shiloh

This place was clean, in excellent condition, and the hosts were so friendly! We enjoyed cooking on the fire, there was lots of material to use. The lot felt safe and we are definitely doing this again!
